My apologies. I just thought it quite funny that an ex-Saints Manager had joined this group, but obviously it`s not.

Just seen on Facebook that Dave Merrington has joined the "I Bet I Can Find 1,000,000, People Who Hate Portsmouth FC" group!

So are you saying that if he set deadlines, stuck to them rigidly and we ended up driving everyone away because they couldn`t meet those deadlines, that would make him appear strong? We could end up with no buyer, but Fry would appear strong? We are talking about multi-million pound business deals with multiple players involved. These things do take time and ingenuity sometimes. You have to be flexible to get the best deal. There is strength in using your head sometimes.

The only person that has the facts is Mark Fry. 99% of everything on this forum is mixture of conjecture, BS, and plain ignorance.

I know that LLS has become a figure of fun or hate on this forum, but he has no money. His involvement is as a catalyst getting those who may have money to make a bid. I do not care who puts a consortium together as long as it gives me a club to support for many years to come. Now I can sit here and say "MJ is a ****** and I don`t want him anywhere near the club" or I can let Mark Fry do his job and presume that he is no idiot and will accept the bid that is acceptable to the creditors and best for the club. IF that happens to involve MJ - so be it. Beggars can`t be choosers!

Radio Solent also reporting that LLS has put in a new, higher bid. The reporter also said that he saw a pink Rolls Royce (Lady Penelope??) with Arabic number plates when he was going to work. He said that he was tempted to follow it to SMS as it is rumoured that money for the MJ lot is from the Middle East!
