Sadly, a lot of our fan-base think that way. I have heard this numerous times after virtually every result....."We were lucky again".....you don't regularly score last gasp goals by being lucky....you get them by keeping going to the very last minute.

Random thoughts on todays game:- First half fairly even but Saints just about edged it. Although both teams were playing a similar style, Saints were more clinical and determined. Too many passes going astray for the Baggies and too many tackles lost. Second half....Baggies seemed to react to their HT talk better than Saints did theirs. We went through the traditional second-half wobble, when they scored, before responding. All in all an entertaining game. Difficult to pick a MotM. I actually thought that Mason Holgate did OK today....definitely not MotM though! 😂. Thought that everbody played well and a big plus seeing Ross Stewart on the pitch! All in all an entertaining game. Overheard people talking on the way back to the car, saying that "We were lucky....we can't keep on being lucky. RM is a lucky manager". When do we start giving the team/manager credit for what is happening. I actually hope that he is a "Lucky Manager!"

I mention in my observations after the Leeds match that Saints seem to have injected a bit of "nastiness/agressiveness" into their game that was missing before. Glad to see it continued at Stoke.....they didn't like it!!

Absolute nonsense! Apart a 10 minute spell after they scored, we were never really worried by them. I know that you love living up to the "Mr Ultra Negative" image, but even for you your views on this game are a bit much.

Having just watched the extended highlights, I now appreciate KS's performance.....and who was commentating on the game for Sky?......VERY pro-Leeds.

Leeds were doing the same thing.....it's the modern way.....

And yet i still see experts on here calling him dreadful....I think that there are few that put in as much effort as he does. Very under-rated IMHO.

Random thoughts on today:- 1) When the team was announced, it felt different. I actually felt a bit positive. I would have had Charles over Smallbone but other than that.... 2) Saints seemed, for the first time this season, to have a "nasty" edge to their game. Dishing out niggly fouls and not afraid to get stuck in. I saw somebody mention a "lack of discipline", but I saw it more as a will to win dirty if neccessary. 3) I was pleased to see "dreadful, dreadful footballers" scoring the goals. 4) I thought that apart from when they scored their goal and for about 10 minutes afterward we controlled the game. Leeds didn't seem to offer much.....or was it that we didn't let them. 5) The Northam chanting Gavin Bazunu's name a few times. 6) Leeds fans being kept generally quiet. 7) How did KS get Man of the Match?? Not saying that he had a bad game, just didn't stand out.
