  1. I think that is a great point you`re raisin!
  2. This what we do. We found that our latest dog is (coincidently) a quite close relative of the one we lost. This made for nice continuation. I just can`t imagine my life without a labrador in the house.
  3. Have been to a few but find it difficult finishing work at 5.30pm. Am going to try to get across to the IoW to see the Islanders when I can.
  4. Love that - "smuggled"! Must remember to use that in any football conversations that I have.
  5. Have recently watched " No Country for Old Men", "Before the Devil Knows Your Dead" and "There Will Be Blood" on DVD. Three brilliant films IMHO.
  6. Agreed. One of the best "goals" I have ever seen a Saint score. Ludicrous decision to dis-allow it.
  7. Good match report in Telegraph, unlike some other papers today. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/leagues/championship/derby/2610446/Dismal-Derby-County-not-at-the-races---Football.html
  8. We, over the years, have had three dogs "put to sleep" at the end of their lives. It is a very traumatic exprience. I personally prefer to have the deed done at the vets with a chance to say "Goodbye" before hand. Most vets will give you the option to take the animal home to bury in your garden if you wish or have them cremated. As a family of dog lovers, we really feel for anyone going through this. As our current dog (a black lab) is only 18 months old I hope that we won`t be going through it again for many years.
  9. Sorry. You just got there before me! Just started another thread on this.
  10. NotW reporting that Saints and Plymouth are competing to sign (on loan) Spurs reserve striker Tomas Pekhart a Czech Republic U-21.
  11. I wouldn`t be against a consortium and money coming in but I would like them to at least give JP a chance and see what happens but with some financial clout should something go wrong.
  12. Whilst I cannot concur with the grammar or the destruction of the beautiful English language ( the language of Shakespeare) I agree that Derby and their supporters are a load of ****e!
  13. Has anyone actually posted on a Rams forum yet? I seem to remember that some of them took the P out of us on here when they were promoted. If anyone has can we have a link please?
  14. It`s not you.
  15. Who is very clever with the "edit" button then?
  16. Grammar surely?
  17. Never heard them. Have they got any CD`s available?
  18. I was going to put this on the music thread but there not a lot musical about this! http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/11ed201165
  19. http://www.imeem.com/scotland/video/pqTBciqJ/former_leyton_orient_manager_john_sitton_the_art_of_british/ Does this seem familiar? Perhaps Roops is on to something!
  20. Lovely place.
  21. You`re lucky. Some of us are going to Derby!
  22. This may help. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/?page_id=10443
  23. It is only 10.55am over here. Loads of time yet!
  24. I think that there was something in Saturday programme about this. No Brum tickets available on-line. Got mine eventually! No apology from the club though. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=736
  25. Quite possibly but if this the case why did Diggers (who knows John Cousens quite well) throw this Asturius hand grenade, out of the blue, into the mix on another thread?? (See post 001 on this thread)
