Newport County 0-8 Saints - Match Thread

I believe that if you download the official Saints app, you can listen on there.. -
I was making the point that I don't believe that you can honestly make a real valued judgement on a new player that has moved from a Foreign league after just two games of a new season.....particularly a start that has Everton away and then Man U. Maybe I am wrong....
-
So we have Thierry Small....just need Toby Tall...
-
I may be wrong, but I think that he said that before JV left...
-
Yes I must admit that after a whole two games, I think that he is a bit "meh" as well. I think we need to get rid...

The problem is that BC started writing the books (I think that "Sharpes Eagle" was the first) and then the TV series came along. The TV series became popular and introduced characters that were not in the books (Private Harris for example). Sharpe started off as a dark haired Londoner, which is why they probably cast Paul McGann originally. After his accident he was replaced with Sean Bean and the books changed to suit. Some of the books were written at the behest of the TV producers.

I bought mine piecemeal very cheaply fron eBay as I got rid of my original one years ago. Looking forward to the new one, which starts a day or two after Waterloo, when it is published in September. I have the complete DVD set and have watched them a number of times. Also just read this:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1783529571/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_QHC13PJ1R6TZH5K2W1PT It is brilliant!

Celtic Pink Floyd....

Currently re-reading all of the Sharpe books in chronological order, ready for the new Sharpe novel in September.

Doesn't what?

Or being sensible and saving some money for January??

Have you actually read this Forum??😉

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain?

.....and I totally agree with you. It's just that when Semmens and co continually state that Gao doesn't put any money into the club, he also doesn't take any out. The club is self-sustaining. To hear these unbased accusations (not just from you) all the time is annoying.

I believe that the ticket office was only open a couple of days a week during lock-down. Not sure what the staffing situation was. The situation regarding crowds back into grounds has been a bit fluid until recently, so I am not sure that the situation has been quite as simple as you highly jocular post would make out. As long as my ST arrives before Sunday I will be happy....or I could just find something else to moan about...

Too old....
-
We probably got Vauxh-all chance of signing him....
-
Depends if we can af-Ford him...
-
So getting results against "Top 6" clubs, something that he haven't done for a long time, counts for nothing? It all about "those" two games?
-
Also no "one on ones" with the goalkeeper...apparently...
