We have just played three of the top four sides in England if not Europe packed with world class players, and performed really well against two of them. He is a brilliant manager full stop. Calm, intelligent, enthusiastic and calculating. I would rather have him any day over clowns like Allardyce and AVP. He will turn out to be one of the best managers our club has ever had if Cortese can keep patient.

Adkins is IMO the best manager we have had. Articulate, intelligent, forward thinking, loyal , not afraid to change things when it's going wrong,has obviously created a great team spirit on and off the pitch, and got us promoted twicein fact he could turn out to be an epic manager. FFS give the bloke a break, if Cortese sacks him then the bloke is a deluded bigot.

I'm now getting worried with so called provincial clubs like Stoke, Swansea, Villa etc all making signings recently. I just cannot for the life of me put three teams below us at the moment. Grateful for what the club has achieved and the direction we're heading in but what a waste it would be to get relegated straight away. I just don't think players like Rodrigues, Sharpe, Lambert etc will have enough quality to get enough goals against PL defences. Also Lallana has looked very poor pre season, couple this with our CB problem and we could be struggling big time. Hope I'm wrong!
