  1. And they / we were entirely right! Mind you, some people reckon Nicola doesn't want us to buy / sell season tickets anyway but that's a completely different discussion!
  2. It should show an increase in ticket sales, but I think it's fair to say that there's as much chance that sales in the 2nd or 3rd season in the Prem could decrease as there is that they could increase, as the initial novelty of being in the Prem will wear off with some people. I still expect the club will want to evaluate things over a couple of years before pushing ahead with plans. Unless they really are just going to throw lumps of money at this with a relatively "Who cares if it doesn't work out?" attitude.
  3. It would be nice if we could consistently have kits that weren't glaringly ripped from template kits, or at least ones from templates that weren't widely used. I know our kit from last season was template based but at least it had been tweaked to make it seem different. I accept that taking the sponsor off had a big effect in this regard though.
  4. megalolz Jamie.
  5. I just dislike you quite a lot and find it hard not to deliberately try and provoke you. How's the Civic Type R?
  6. Of course I'm not going. I thought I had made that clear. I didn't spend days going on about going only to change my mind at the last minute like some. I guess that means you're out the gang now DellDays.
  7. Walkabout is now Wahoo (not sure of the spelling) but it offers the same big screen with lots of standing space as it used to. We're ditching the Alex today and going to Wahoo instead in a genius tactical decision. The Alex is a great pub but very hard to get a good view unless you blag one of the very few good tables.
  8. A different kind of idiot. They seem more like the Tim Nice But Dim types, whereas we have more of the Breivik types.
  9. Exactly. It is a good crowd.
  10. Proves my point.
  11. It wasn't too long ago that they announced that they would have to cut their playing budget and stop making expensive signings because they were't selling as many tickets as expected. They are't the best role models if you're trying to justify Saints' stadium expansion. Their attendances have recently picked up because of their new manager I guess.
  12. Very true Mike.
  13. How may were there out of interest? I presume it was all standing.
  14. So now you DON'T want us to take more supporters because they're not the right kind of supporter? Brilliant.
  15. You've just answered your own question as to why we're not all going. This club has had five games over the last three weeks, tomorrow will be the sixth. We've had two home sellout crowds, a couple of thousand at Blackpool (which was televised), nearly 6k at Palace and over 3000 at Peterborough. All that over Easter when the 'Dads' amongst us (not me) will have had kids at home who need entertaining (money) at what not. We've also already sold out our final home game of the season. We'll end up having 3k fans at tomorrow's game which is also on TV and I think that's impressive in the context of the last few weeks. You can stamp your feet about it, but you're not going to change it, so just concentrate on going and enjoying your trip.
  16. I can assure you that if Saints end up in the playoffs, I will not spare one second's thought on why they didn't sort their ticketing policy prior to the end of the season.
  17. Not your kind of pipe Sailor Boy.
  18. Fans who didn't go to a London away trip where Saints could secure promotion are pr1cks. End of.
