If they want to shift more shirts they need to get fan representatives onboard from the sorts of people who wouldn't usually wear replica shirts. I'm sure Turkish could make some helpful suggestions about how to make it look a lot more urban and suitable for your average geezer. If we had a choice between a soulless out of town stadium like the Madejski (which isn't in walking distance of the town centre pubs etc) or staying in St Marys (even if wasn't expanded), I'd happily stay at St Marys forever.

What region? I think you need to look that word up in a dictionary.

What region? Reading is 45miles away. The only reason people can try and suggest that they are a 'local' club is because there are so few professional clubs of any significant stature in the South of England. I don't see any reason why people in Southampton should think that Reading's promotion is indirectly beneficial to us which is what you're implying.
