  1. bear in mind we faiiled to win the first eight because of our non-existant preseason. how does 10 out of 17 look?
  2. exactly mate
  3. Not for me, i've seen somre great wins and performances this season. I've enjoyed watching the saints more than ever. I don't care what standard opposition we're playing, I've had plenty of home goals and home wins to cheer, and that's all that matters.
  4. not the end of the world is it?
  5. My analysis is he's not talking becuase it backired last time and it's sensitive. If it was dead, it wouldn't be sensitive and he may be incline to say "it's dead". I firnly beleive that we've done 'round one' and a deal couldn't be agreed. I think we've entered limob where both teams are waiting for the other to crack and offer an improved deal. Who knows whether they will or not? Stock will have certainly got told off for telling random people on Facebook that a move to Saints looked likely and that he hoped to came through, so he will be keeping his cards close to his chest now.
  6. How old is he? If a young player can't accept being slotted into a team initially by being played out of position, he needs to learn to eat humble pie. Look at Ryan Giggs. Do you think he moans at Fergie for playing him "out of position"?
  7. not enjoying the ride delldays? Haven't you enjoyed the games you've been to?
  8. £449 pay as you go then the unlock fee.
  9. htc bravo may be the one. It's a nexus one but with an optical pad and the htc sense ui (like the htc hero) over android 2.1
  10. that worried me too after reading the op.
  11. i think it will sell out and i love the fact that i'm guaranteed a ticket now. woot.
  12. that's about right mate. Let's chill out and enjoy the ride.
  13. silence is golden. He's not talking anymore, which speaks volumes.
  14. an absolute disappointment, but who knows what might happen next season. As long as it's a good ride, it's out of our hands to some extent. I know spending big SHOULD equal success, but we have no divine right unfortunately.
  15. yeh, it's handy from a relationship point of view. I can be romantic and still go to the game. get in.
  16. Next season, i'm not set on auto promotion, but if we spend 'big' again, we must get promoted or miss out due to some dubious penalty shoot out.
  17. if we finish top 10, make it to wembley in the JPT and beat Pompey, I will be very happy with our season.
  18. not after the fuss last time!
  19. this deal is not dead
  20. Wonder if the Alex will open early enough for a pre-match pint then.
  21. I am a mug. I arrived at the ticket office at 8am and stood for an hour in the freezing cold. The only thing I could do to try and stay sane was count ... I made it to just over 1200 by 8:55am when other people joined the queue and the ticket office open. On the plus side, I got two pairs of tickets refunded and purchased two half-season tickets with MK Dons tickets to match. By 9:05, all windows of ticket office one were in action and serving customers. I had to chuckle at people's attitude when told that seating wasn't available in key blocks unless they wanted to go right to the front or right to the back. The amount of people questioning if the staff were sure there weren't four seats available together in the middle of block 19 etc amazed me. Hats off to the ticket office staff who must get sick and tired of us fans and our stupid questions all day long and thanks to Gavin for sorting out my potentially confusing refunds and purchases.
  22. It's not so much the new registrations, but I think the tickets left after season ticket holders have got theirs will be going to existing registered customers who fulfil other specific conditions, e.g. attended all FA Cup games so far etc.
  23. Yes but the club have no idea who would be actually using the 'second' ticket. All they know is that it was originally purchased by a season ticket holder before being passed on to any Tom, **** or Harry. I guess they could always trace it back to the purchaser if it came to dishing out bans though. However, I still think allowing fans with a particular purchase history to buy tickets, before allowing season ticket holders to buy extras, is fairer. Allow season ticket holders to buy spares and I believe you'd see the majority of season ticket holders taking up their second ticket on the basis of giving it to 'a mate'. It's the people who have gone to the games who are the most deserving, not those who are friends with people who have gone to lots of games. All IMO of course.
  24. thanks mate, i should be fine then.
  25. thanks stu, but i've got two sets of tickets I've already preordered that I want to sort a refund on at the same time. I was concerned that the 'hotline' is outsourced and that I won't speak directly to the ticket office. Do you know if that's the case or not? If I can do a refund on my preorder tickets at the same time via the hpone, I'll save myself the early morning!
