ditto; if you want a more expensive contract though. You're bound to have to subsidise a higher handset cost. The HTC Legend is the 'updated Hero' though, whereas the Passion is a new high-end model.

David Luker has replied to my email about the confusing seating plan colours and confirmed what amount of choice we will get about seat location when buying tickets. Here are the important bits... So, in summary, we SHOULD assume that aqua on the seating plan is the same price as the green seats. And we won't be specifying exact blocks where we want tickets, but we should be able to choose within a few blocks, i.e. you can buy a seat in block 131 - 134, but can't specify block 132.

rob wins the prize for first ticket plea there i think ;-)

I just saw the goals on South Today. It reminded how frustrating their second was; it looks like a defender should have been able to make it back. The finish looked jammy on the 3rd; beating Davis at the near post?!?!?! The 4th shows us to be really stretched. A few defenders back but nobody following OHara in = nightmare!

I've just emailed David Luker the following... Will let you know if I get a reply tomorrow.
-
yeh, i want the same level, but as close to the centre as possible (134-136). It'll be interesting to see what amount of choice we get over tickets though. Maybe we'll only be able to request a certain price category anyway.
-
yeh, the aqua thing is very misleading. JRM assumes they are 'green' just like the other areas, but it's definitely a different colour that is being used. Maybe aqua is reserved club wembley seating? I've no idea but the fact that it's unclear is very disappointing. I'll have to send David Luker an email if I get time.
-
Not if you don't assume aqua = green. The seats are quite clearly aqua on the seating plan and different to the green used on the key and elsewhere on the seating plan.
-
Not clear what price the rear of blocks 133 and 134 is going to be! You'd think that, between them, the club and Wembley could distribute a seating plan that made sense.
-
and were you?
-
You're probably right ... I'm sure they have sound trickery which is used to filter out the majority of the crowd noise.

Pardew expects Southampton board to keep their word

18 months is about what most of the fans on here were saying when he was appointed. If Xmas is approaching and we're not right in the promotion race, I'll be annoyed. -
... had the balls to rewatch the game on TV yet? I recorded it but haven't bothered to watch it! I'd be interested to know if watching it back on tele changed people's opinions about key events in the game and it would be interesting to know how the crowds came across on tele.

What are they teaching kids in school these days? If we played like that every week, we'd lose every game four one and find ourselves hanging out the backside of British football. Do you think you child meant, "If we'd play like we played for the first 70mins but scored a few goals?" -
ignoring the corporate area, there was a significant amount of saints upping and leaving after the fourth went in.
-
I'm not sure where you were sat mate but that simply isn't true. I was aghast at the number of fans who upped and left after the fourth. Still, I guess they were trying to make it back to the pubs prior to the 2:30pm lock ins; probably a wise move onfreflection.

he had three kids with him as well.

Singing "Pay Up Pompey" DOESN'T WORK as it just sounds like we're joining in with them!

I'm not debating the throwing of "missiles", although I didn't see any of that from block 32. The guy was asking for trouble though and should possibly have been thrown out anyway for what was an ill-judged 'joke'. I'm not sure how on earth he thought it could be 'funny'. The majority of the crowd had no idea it was a funny saints fan, the word was that it was a pompey fan, hence the reaction.
