  1. As it says on the tin ... has anyone had the chance to play FM2011 on the same machine they used to play FM2010 and draw comparisons? FM2010 was slow-ish but ok on my laptopt, and I don't want to buy FM2011 if it is going to be slower.

    curry club?

I can't see the point for doing it at a game that only costs £15 a ticket. If you go to a normal game when your ticket would cost £25, your curry, drink and lounge / bar access is only costing £12 which is pretty good value really.
  3. Series two is up there as well. 'London' is perhaps the stand out episode for me. The bottom line is that the 3rd series was a little dialogue heavy, but without as frequent humour. It also found itself going a bit cliched, but at least they've knocked it on the head now. The film is in production though.
  4. care to share the real world mpg figure?
  5. There's nothing wrong with the carpet at Carpet Right as long as you avoid the cheaper stuff like the plague. However, you'd be mad to purchase anything from them other than the carpet itself. In other words, get your fitter to supply underlay and trims. The price of these accessories and the fitting costs themselves are astronomical if supplied by Carpet Right. They use these prices to make up for the 'discounts' offered on the actual carpets. If you don't believe me, get Carpet Right to quote for these bits then approach a good quality independent fitter to see what they quote. You could probably half your costs doing it that way.

you're going to pay interest on excess mortage funds just to try and claw some funds back in interest gained on shares? Surely that's a but of a waste of time?
  7. It's illegal for one.
  8. If you purchase an iPhone from the Apple Store they will activate it for you in store so that's it's ready to use. Perhaps try taking it in there and asking politely if they'll do it for you anyway? Unfortunately, you can't expect Apple to refund your phone just because you can't get iTunes to work as there's nothing wrong with the phone itself.
  9. Oh, and avoid Atherley Garage as well, unless you want to pay more than you would at a main dealer for servicing.
  10. Two requests for Nicola... 1) A nice cheap ticket for ST holders please. 2) ST holders being able to claim their own seats please. That is all.
  11. Ah ... good ol' Lawrie spouting crap about SFC. Nothing changes.
  12. PSUs need to be quiet, otherwsie your system will generate a lot of noise. Pay attention to what sort of noise it will produce, as well as just power rating and price.
  13. So does anyone have a pirate copy yet?

  15. Don't use Hendy Ford. HTH.
  16. Glad it's over, but underwhelmed on the surface. If he was the best applicant, we're obviously not that respected amongst football managers. I'll be behind the team evry step of the way though.
  17. What a load of tosh. So living with a group of strangers away from Mummy and Daddy, managing your own budget and learning that you have to do your own cleaning etc and get yourself to lectures or work on time doesn't come from attending a university and wouldn't help you become a more attractive employment proposition?
  18. The best bit will be when you're eating breakfast with your Mum in front of the TV tomorrow before you go and collect your results. An item will come on about A Level results and they will show a student opening their results live; this student will get four A grades and you will feel the weight of your Mum's expectation on your shoulders.
  19. That church will hold over 1000 people so they're obviously sending out a lot of invites.
  20. Locked
  21. surely not
  22. When it comes to BMWs compared to Audis, the 'drivers' will go for the BMWs every time and leave the 'posers' to the Audis. It's well known that the TT is a dull, dull drive for what it's supposed to be.
  23. read the caption
  24. I think it's due to how much of the Milner cash he would have been able to spend, not the principal behind selling Milner in the first place. Of course, he could be on his way to Saints.
  25. Exactly!!! What a bunch of hysterical tarts some of the posters on here are.
