You watch; Puncheon will be another player deemed 'not good enough' for Saints who goes on to put in perfectly acceptable performances for a club above us in the league structure. As others have said, it's ridiculous that the Saints management cannot get Puncheon back here to put in a couple of professional performances until a replacement can be found. We're short of players due to injuries and sending Puncheon out on loan.

I don't think there was a full blown op as such. Adkins spoke of their being a couple of treatment options and that one had been used experimentally to see how he gets on. I'm guessing an op is the second, more major, option.

There is absolutely no way Fonte will go anywhere with Pardew after what happened between the pair of them.

I think "not ****ing off your season ticket holders rules" also permit you from reducing things too much too often. My ticket has cost me about £18 a game and it needs to remain the most cost-effective way of buying a ticket to make it viable.

You still miss the point! 1) I have no idea whether your allegations are correct because I can't be arsed to go back and look at them. Whether I'm old, young, fat, thin, drink tea or eat tofu doesn't bear any relevance to the discussion. 2) This too has bearing on the discussion. As it happens I have snapped up my own seats, but this is down to luck that they just so happened to be available, not because the club were helpful enough to hold them for 24hours for me. 3) So you agree with me anyway... I have no idea what you've been rambling on about then. Why shouldn't the club give ST holders 24 hours to claim their usual seats before all tickets go on sale? What possible disadvantages are to this happening?

You completely miss the point and make yourself look a bit of a berk by assuming things about people who sit in specific areas of the ground. The idea of what is and isn't a good view is subjective. Many ST holders obviously feel one view is better than another, hence why they choose to sit in a specific part of the ground. To dismiss their opinion on what is or isn't a good view is ignorant. As I said before, I've clearly showed that there are benefits for ST holders in being able to secure their own seat and I'm still waiting to hear how other people are disadvantaged by said facility. I can't see any reason why the club no longer do it.

It is not non-season ticket holders' place to criticise season ticket holders for wanting the privilege of being able to claim their own seat. It costs the club nothing to give season ticket holders a small amount of time (even 24 / 48hours) to claim their own seats before general sale. Some season ticket holders feel their are benefits for them in being able to do this. For instance, it is nice to be surrounded by the same people game upon game. I go with one mate and have quite enjoyed gradually also getting to know a couple of the other people around me. Having a brief natter with these familiar faces is part and parcel of going to SMS now. Equally, for ST holders who have purchased premium seats, there is some disadvantage at being forced to sit in other areas of the ground. In my opinion, my ST seats gives me the perfect view; I am slap bang on the halfway line and about three quarters of the way back. I cannot buy this view in the opposite area of the ground so I'm left with a battle on my hands as I desperately try to secure one of those premium seats. I've sat in other areas of the ground and the view isn't as good; I'm either facing across one end of the pitch and forever craning my neck, or I'm right an end so at a disadvantage when play is at the other end. Ultimately then, being able to secure my st seat gives me perks and doesn't cause anybody else a disadvantage, so why on earth shouldn't the club offer that option?

I'm not sure I understand the anti-bingo bus feeling. Surely it's just a means of transport to a game? Does transport to a game have to involve getting drunk, lots of shouting, intimidation of the general public and a cheeky punch up if you're lucky just to complete the experience?

With tickets now on sale to ST holders, who has got tickets? The OS said they were expecting high demand, hence the staggered on sale dates, but haviong not seen a thread on here yet (I may have missed one), I wonder if demand will really be that high.
