I was on Saturday Banana and won on the runaround game(was on SB before it got its own series)! Bill Oddie and a young Susan Tulley presented the show, Robin Gibb was the guest on the show that day. Was gutted the prize wasn't a "chopper" bike that week, as it usually was, but I got a new TV games consol, which I'd never seen before! Became popular around the Warren for a while then! My 2 brothers(they are a few years older than me) would get home from the pub then play pong all night on there, when I got up I wasn't allowed to use it in case it left lines on the tv!

The last I heard they're not running a minibus to the game now, going by train and cars instead.

Go to the Northam club, 2 minutes from the ground, opposite the garage in Northam Road, costs a couple of quid on the door, but cheap beer!

One player who wasn't on the **** last night was Drew Surman. Fair play to him, he got straight off the coach and came and did the presentation for my son's football club, and stayed until gone time and only drank squash! Thanks Drew, you were a star, the boys loved it!

Just to bump this up, have just got back from there, fish and chips only £3, sausage and chips for a pound, a bargain! I'm getting fatter to help the club!!

Duchess is good, Freemantle Hotel is run by a couple of good Saints lads, but walk down to the Park Inn in Park Road, great pub, great ale,full of Saints but no juke box or pool table, a proper pub! Might even buy you a drink Mr Mintrum!

I've no idea how their details were collated, just passing on what I was told. Regular away fans will at least recognise, if not know in person the two involved, it is the truth, but the only place they can put their card statements together was the toll road, albeit 3 hours apart!

Met 2 mates last night who paid by card on the toll road. Both received counterfeit Abbey bank fraud letters, urging them to call. All looked above board apart from the Abbey logo on the top of the letters. They called the official bank fraud number who informed them the letters were an attempt to defraud the card holders and nothing to do with the bank, so if anyone else receives these letters, don't call the numbers on them!

Four of us travelling up early Saturday, meeting 10 who are travelling Friday, back Sunday pm, after the pleasure beach!

Derby away, this season, in the ST minibus on the way back, ran out of diesel on the A34 and had to push it for one and a half miles to services! The beer stop off at Newbury tasted so sweet! Also broke down about 5 miles from home in the snow after travelling to Norwich in the ZDS trophy.

Has to be Branfoot, no manager since has received as much abuse as he did(and fully deserved!). Just read the Ugly Inside fanzines of the time!
