Tella should have been on earlier - last few minutes of the 90 West Ham were blowing out of their arses especially at the back, Him and Broja would have not been fun to defend against.

Jack Stephens' passion & has he improved?
John Boy Saint replied to niceandfriendly's topic in The Saints
Gave a good bollocking to the referee too for a really crap decision - I like his “I really don’t give a f*** who you are” attitude. Him and Salisu seem to be clicking. -
You forgot that Skácel fellow we’re supposed to be signing from Hearts!

Its well worth making the effort she will enjoy it (you might even be surprised) - £3 to get in, free parking in the trading estate round the corner.............buy her some of the cheesy that many seemed to opting for and you will be the best Dad in the world. Mrs JBS and I went and saw the Gillingham game at Totton (yup the 2 keeping errors made you laugh) , as a team they are well sorted actually they look a bloody nightmare to play against, they are relentless. Walking back to the car we were talking to a lady who seems to have been going to their games for a while, "they seem to have picked up where they have left off - second half they just keep going and you can see the opposition wilting by the minute". Nice little stadium and the pitch is in good nick, no surprise really as the club maintain it as part of the deal with Totton.

Michael Obafemi - Official: Signs for Swansea
John Boy Saint replied to SuperSAINT's topic in The Saints
Tella stepping up probably didn’t help his cause - blistering pace, football intelligence and possibly more receptive to instruction. Ralph said at the outset the MO was a stone that needed polishing, obviously he wasn’t coming up quite as well as he hoped. With regard to pace - read on the weekend that so far Armstrong A has been clocked as the fastest player in the league this season. -
You forgot Sweeteners too There was some chat about Ings getting £6m from Villa “for signing on the dotted line”,
-
Popped along to the Women’s game at Totton - Ref has made some woeful decisions, 2 had all 20 outfield players standing looking at him - to a Woman “WTF?!”.

You could argue “and other events sold by the club at St Mary’s”, a home cup game is an event sold by the club at St Mary’s. no doubt more effort will be made to dodge that than was put into the ticket fiasco

Maybe he’s woken up to the fact that with Mo getting a start, Stu due to come back in, Tella, Broja, Theo all being good competition, he needs to up his game to get on the pitch. Letting his natural talent, that has got him this far, override his annoying trait of dallying frustratingly.

Further to that earlier reply - his contract was running down at Reading, we made an offer, but as has been said his performances for us saw Reading say no and offer him a new better contract. They were Championship we were league One, he was a young man easily influenced I guess. I know at the time we were said to have done all we could, understandably Cortese wasn’t prepared to have his pants pulled down by Reading. - As an aside if Pardew was pushing the agenda to get Antonio in, he was living on borrowed time off the back of the JPT. Apparently Markus was not impressed that we seemingly took our foot off the gas after winning that.

I only had the benefit of listening to Solent - but Blackmore was less than impressed with him, especially the way Tino was seemingly targeted to be kicked at every opportunity with the only sanction being the refs whistle. Yet KWPs yellow was a bit harsh.

We must be able to claim gift aid we are so charitable

Fucking predictable - bloody useless

Ah that Fraser is a horrible little toad
-
Broja at last
-
No not Redmond - Tella 🙄

Arse!!!!!!!

Blackmore and Merrington are in full Waldorf and Stadler off the Muppets mode. Hoping after the first half performance that they don’t have bloody long drive home after the second half………..again! 😂Blackmore just referred to Bruce as Mr Potato face!!😂

Ah but you know after Sunday we will get tagged as a team of Norman Hunters and Chopper Harris’s because of the way we roughed up United (regardless of the fact that Pogba committed a foul on Adam’s that was straight out of the 1970’s in its intent). It’s amazing that there have been any match reports from last nights games seeing as just about every Footie Journo was seemingly spewing out miles of column inches about Kane.

You just know it - perfect hat-trick then standing with his hand on his hips out on the wing miles from the ball at St James Park Saturday and in for the next 6 games.

When this happened Jack told him a few home truths - probably including I couldn’t give a toss who you are stop being a big girls blouse and suck it up buttercup. Jack walked away, and Prowsey kept walking with Fernandes looked like he was running the Zaha repertoire - Fernades looked to still be in a daze from Jack verbal assault.

Most football clubs are once you go beyond the main product - most of the arrogance comes from knowing your core customer base isn’t going away like Sainsbury’s customers might suddenly switch to Tesco because the bread is better. Good few years ago I was selling a product that was beyond perfect for club shops - I was told to stay well away by the MD

Phew - I can have Sunday cooked breakfast, listen the Archers omnibus before making the trip down the M3 in a leisurely manner. Postman was playing games though as he shuffled the envelopes mine was on top Mrs JBS’s was mixed with the rest and yet another bloody Dominos menu.

I went to a show in London on Saturday and all these things were required to be seen before entry into theatre. I had my NHS Covid pass QR code, but showed them my little card from when I was jabbed “ok that’s fine”. I’ll see if that gets me through the check on Sunday

If you don’t go on the website everyday you are likely to miss that, especially as the way news presented on the website. Unless you diligently browse the OS every day with the hood up on your anorak, something presented on Monday requires searching back for on Tuesday more intently, that’s if you feel inclined to look at Monday’s stories after losing yet again on the weekend. Looking at the media output that spews out of the club there are enough clever clogs in the place to sticky a message about Season Tickets on the the opening page to be seen for the whole week not one day. Especially when every expectant season ticket holder is contacting the club with the same question. The way media is presented and digested online these days, what’s posted as news at 9am is old news by 17:30 when you are having a browse whilst dunking your rich tea………. At the end of the day it’s still laissez faire customer service, but then it always has been towards season ticket holders.
