Looking like our record is safe folks

Anthony Taylor is confused “I’m at OT how do I get away with giving a red”
-
Jeez!!!! They look like relegation candidates.
-
……………..Man U look a total shambles Moght go back to India v Pakistani in the T20 World Cup
-
Blimey Rashford looks like he won an afternoon as a Man U player at Bury Church Fete yesterday afternoon.
-
I thought it was with his stock supposedly high - we were considering him being off Jan so why lessen the ticket price with him European cup tied.
-
As they walked past the Chapel everyone twigged on who was walking round - everyone in the stand stood and applauded - Robbie Savage suddenly slowed his walk dropping off the group like you say he was taken aback and didn’t want steal any part of the moment and the appreciation for Gordon.
-
At least you got the gist. Bet they still go to the Lancaster Gate hotel for their festive knees up oh I forgot……………..bloody pedant!! 🤪
-
Dunno Coote lived up to my billing in the thread for Leeds He is prime candidate to fill the shoes of Dean - ahead of Oliver.

£20k?! That is horseshit considering he was holding back. ah well that the hors d'oeuvres at the Lancaster Gate Christmas party covered, maybe one glass of bubbles too. Ralph should start a crowd funding page, then next time he can let the dogs off the leash - most Footie fans would likely chip in just for the satisfaction seeing a manager just let rip.

I remember being at a Trade show and a mate with another company and fellow Saints fan - came over for a chat on Pardew departing. Then said (more than I knew at the time) - "apparently they are looking at some chap called Adkins - don't think I've heard of him" - When I said blimey I hadn't thought of him, that would be great what he's done at Scunthorpe with a shirt buttons budget should do pretty well for us and our resources. Then qualified that with a recollection of playing Scunthorpe in the Championship at SMS with him in charge, first 15-20 minutes they steamed into us playing some really nice football and really should have easily been 2-0 or more up then sat on it. As the players they had ran out of puff, carry that into the players we have, we should see some good stuff. Sure enough he did make use of the resources he had here, the football that was served up to our eyes was at times too much to fit in. Anyone saying otherwise is talking out of their backside, (they certainly won't be one of those who watched the journey down into league one) - we were richly entertained consistently. Regardless of what has happened to him since - he delivered at Saints, and for that is deserving of the affection most of us have for the bloke.

Does it have a sub section Stat of "promptly gets it back and faffs about with it while the oppo defence resets". I'll wait for the update in April before getting moist over it.
-
But in Brazil it’s normally just the Samba drums - adding a bit of rhythm and tempo to the team.
-
Blimey!................. if only there were just 2 players on the pitch for a game .............:-)🤪
-
I agree, every time I have seen him, I've been suitably impressed, very neat and tidy and bloody quick - that sprint up the pitch first half Saturday he got near the 18 yard box glanced around for someone to pass to almost "errr where is everyone". He seems keen to hit the goal line which opens up the corridor of uncertainty - which does get little use.
-
Its a no brainer that someone didn't think about it before, especially as Saints Brass have played outside the stadium for quite a while now - and they do get quite an audience, especially when tootling out a popular tune.

A mate we went with tagged me in a memory on Facebook, when it popped up on the iPad I had a look - I was greeted with "memories from this day". Just looking at my posts the over riding thought was "What a fantastic away day" - and our superb road trip from Geneva and back just added lustre to it all. Yes it would have been nice to have won - but anyone who was there (and not stupidly drunk to have obliterated recall) must hold it up there as one of best away days ever - just for the sheer adventure
-
Tempted as we were all set to go in March last year - Tickets - Hotel - and a new car collected on the Thursday before (so looking forward to a nice long familiarisation drive)............ then the world stopped.
-
Celebration slide with it too - he went miles!! What a filthy night down there

Exactly what’s on my going up the chimney playlist. 😇 Thought Saturdays rendition was spot on and the majority were I getting into it. Weirdly the players were mithering a while ago that us fans weren’t firing them up before kick off and the answer has been right under Saints noses for years.

cUnacceptable inconsistency and appalling standard of referees
John Boy Saint replied to cambsaint's topic in The Saints
I didn't watch the game as I was working till half time - so he got absolutely nothing for that? Because of an earlier offence being whistled for seconds before? How does that work? - So you can be a right nasty bastard mere seconds after the whistle and kick an oppo player up in the air without recourse? -
You might find Ralph will be easing him in. I thought Diallo was rusty on Saturday first few touches, and like that Listerine mouth wash Ad bang he was in the game. Stuart when he came on looked far more rusty, Burnley are a rufty tufty bunch, if you are a tad off your game and you get caught even unintentionally you could find yourself back on the treatment table - that said another full week of training and he could well be up to speed.

Cracking first post, welcome to the funny farm For a player who was a bit Meh season before last - to get a standing ovation from a very large number of the crowd when he was subbed speaks volumes about the majority view on his shift on the pitch.
