Close - Kevin Friend: the next one off the rank. -
Mrs JBS who is not a trawler of the Internet - but paid attention to the message with her Season Ticket about the screens and commented on the date when they hadn’t changed. Memory like an Elephant trust me Just don’t tell her I said that 😳

2021 Blame culture..... Its BoJos fault....... not the company he works for shovelling fuel onto the fire on a hourly basis, and then getting singed by the flames with the spade in his hands.
-
Hmmmm you would imagine that given the outlay, someone would have done the prep maths............... "B*****ks to paying that" is more likely, when the $19,000 per shipping container cost was presented.

Depends on your definition of local - but the Pies and Sausage Rolls are made just along the A27 in Worthing. 45 miles as the Crow flies.

That just made me think of the Jimmy Tarbuck gag in the programme before we beat Liverpool donkeys years ago 3-2 (great game) - Lawrie Mac chatting to Bob Paisley whilst walking down the Solent, asking how he can get Saints to play more like Liverpool, Bob says dustbins, we put dustbins out on the training pitch and the lads practise round them: works a treat. Couple of weeks later Bob asks, how did you get on with the dustbins Lawrie? - Not so well Bob, dustbins won 3-1!

Do Weymouth Saints still exist? - seem to recall seeing a coach parked uP on Britannia road once upon a time. Might be worth looking them up - if they could fill a coach might be a someone down there up for the trip to the mysterious east.

Crikey thats why Redmond is seemingly getting so much slack, they are one and the same......peas in a pod. As I've said many times about Redmond, if you actually sit in the stadium and watch the game with your own eyes he is without any shadow of a doubt reactive not proactive player. The question earlier as to whether Ralph should try the KWP - Tino combo and if it went wrong would I complain - not at all. Because even on paper how could it - both like to get up the field, both are direct, both know how to defend = goal congruence.

Blimey Rashford looks like he won an afternoon as a Man U player at Bury Church Fete yesterday afternoon.
-
I thought it was with his stock supposedly high - we were considering him being off Jan so why lessen the ticket price with him European cup tied.
-
As they walked past the Chapel everyone twigged on who was walking round - everyone in the stand stood and applauded - Robbie Savage suddenly slowed his walk dropping off the group like you say he was taken aback and didn’t want steal any part of the moment and the appreciation for Gordon.

At least you got the gist. Bet they still go to the Lancaster Gate hotel for their festive knees up oh I forgot……………..bloody pedant!! 🤪

Dunno Coote lived up to my billing in the thread for Leeds He is prime candidate to fill the shoes of Dean - ahead of Oliver.
-
£20k?! That is horseshit considering he was holding back. ah well that the hors d'oeuvres at the Lancaster Gate Christmas party covered, maybe one glass of bubbles too. Ralph should start a crowd funding page, then next time he can let the dogs off the leash - most Footie fans would likely chip in just for the satisfaction seeing a manager just let rip.

I remember being at a Trade show and a mate with another company and fellow Saints fan - came over for a chat on Pardew departing. Then said (more than I knew at the time) - "apparently they are looking at some chap called Adkins - don't think I've heard of him" - When I said blimey I hadn't thought of him, that would be great what he's done at Scunthorpe with a shirt buttons budget should do pretty well for us and our resources. Then qualified that with a recollection of playing Scunthorpe in the Championship at SMS with him in charge, first 15-20 minutes they steamed into us playing some really nice football and really should have easily been 2-0 or more up then sat on it. As the players they had ran out of puff, carry that into the players we have, we should see some good stuff. Sure enough he did make use of the resources he had here, the football that was served up to our eyes was at times too much to fit in. Anyone saying otherwise is talking out of their backside, (they certainly won't be one of those who watched the journey down into league one) - we were richly entertained consistently. Regardless of what has happened to him since - he delivered at Saints, and for that is deserving of the affection most of us have for the bloke.
