I dont think anyone would or should be anything other than sceptical to be honest, trouble is our frustration sometimes boils over. At the end of the day we are all Saints fans and all want and hope for better times. Fair play to you for apologising

I think that Lowe knew well before the end of the season that he would be back in Power at SFC, and like most supporters actually thought relegation was a real possibility. With that in mind, they set about a plan for life in league 1 and thats where the Dutch set up came into play. Its possible the Lowe & Wilde thought that if we were going to be relegated, the Dutch set with the emphasis on youth would have coped in League 1 and given us a platform to rebuild the club. IMO NP messed up the Lowe & Wildes plans by keeping us up on the last day, but by this time JP and Co had already been assured of their jobs. NP was then surplass to requirements, as Lowe & Wilde had already committed to the Dutch set up.

Maybe ! Any idea of how much Morgan paid for Wolves ? As im sure he would get heck of a lot more for them if he was looking to sell if they do make the PL.

My feeling on this has never changed, (Im not a Lowe fan) but I could never understand the fans mentality 2 years or so ago with the attitude of 'anyone other than Lowe'. Wilde never impressed me then and has done nothing to impress me since his arrival, in fact all he has managed to do is make the situation we found ourselves in before he arrived, a lot worse. My attitude back then was, yes we need changes but unless the likes of Lowe & Askham can be completly removed from our club, then we will fail to move forward properly.

Oh what a brilliant day out that was, and seeing the all those saints fans going mental was a fantastic sight, as I was one of the many who was in the Fratton End, and god did they not like it one bit. They were stunned into silence.

Was it not only last season that they seriously fecked up the tickets for the game at Norwich as well... Didnt Luker say sorry it wouldnt happen again ?

Does anyone know how many tickets we have sold or what the allocation was ? Normally at Norwich I have brought my ticket on the day as any unsold saints allocation get returned when the Team coach arrives then get sold at the ticket office. A Norwich supporter that I work with says they have sold all the home tickets !

The squad of players Redknapp inherited would have been good enough to survive, under the leadership of any half decent manager.... Same as at Spurs right now ! We all know the history as to why we ended up with Redknapp, and that he was not Lowe's ideal choice, and lets be honest Redknapp can only opperate with massive funds at his disposal for lots of whealing and dealing. You only need to take a look at the turnover of players at the skates whilst he was there to see this. So was Redknapp and Saints a recipe for sucess or disaster.... Disaster waiting to happen I think. What on earth made Redknapp come to us and think he would get the funds made available, yet WGS was supposedly denied from having just a short time earlier ? I cant honestly believe that Lowe ever promised Redknapp money to spend . Do you ?

This is exactly what Rodney Marsh said about SFC when the club was preparing to move to SMS. His sentiments were along the lines of we had a fan base that was suitable to the Dell, we would attract higher gates in good times but as soon as bad times hit us, we would struggle to get more supporters than the old capacity of the Dell, and struggle to fill the new stadium. So I guess these are bad times and in a sense he was right, although I personally think the circumstances are slightly different to what he was thinking about when he made the comments. I still do not like the bloke

I will say this once again, If you want Lowe out, think about changing tactics Fair enough everyone has a right to be p*ssed off with Lowe, but if they seriously want to make changes at SFC the target of all the abuse has to change. The ONE person who should be targeted with a hate campaign and driven from the club, forced to sell his shares is WILDE. Without Wilde's backing Lowe would be gone very shortly, just trying to force Lowe out on his own will not change much at SMS. Its time for ACTION and its time WILDE is forced to sell up, Step up with a hate campaign against this man and he will sell, as he has proved he is a spineless whimp. Hate campaigns against Lowe are water off a ducks back to Lowe, so save your energy.

At last a bit of sense.... Im a bit sick of the fact Lowe takes all the flak when all of the others mentioned are as much accountable as lowe himself.... Wilde is a complete and utter W * nker & the sooner Askham drops dead the F * cking better

There have been some fantastic stories on this thread, so thanks to all of you that have contributed and given us a lot of pleasure reading them. Now my story is nowhere near as interesting as some but I thought I would share it anyway, and it goes back to the eighties. I guess most Saints fans will remember that Nick Holmes had a Testimonial game against Benfica, which in itself was a terrific event for such a good servant to the club. However Nick actually had a Testimonial season, in which he and other players from the club travelled around for social events. It was one of these events that i was lucky enough to get a ticket for, the players came to a small Snooker & Squash club in Alton Hants for an evening of fun. The players that I remember from the evening are obviously Nick himself, Steve Moran, Reuben Agboola, and others that slip from my memory (Age lol). During the evening I played Snooker against both Steve & Reuben with plenty of drink flowing and plenty of fooling around. All in all a great night with a great set of blokes who made everyone feel comfortable, not big headed or stuck up at all.

I think Nigel deserves the chance he has now been given, and I cant help thinking that his Old Man will be having a smile from above and feeling fairly proud of his boy. I think he is destined to go on to manage Notts Forest & maybe return them to the big time. Maybe even go on and get the ultimate job that Brian Clough should have got but never did.

A fantastic draw for SFC in term of revenue, and even better should we get a draw and then a replay up at old trafford (in financial terms). Although it will be great to get a full house at St Mary's its a shame it is only going to happen because of the opposition. I just wonder how many of the so called stay away until lowe & wilde are gone crowd will suddenly forget their pledge... Time to start checking the posts and spotting them as im sure they will slip up in something they say lol....
