I often agree with you but this time I think the Pinnacle lot should stand firm. SLH and SFC have acted within the FL rules so should IMO not be penalized with the points deduction. The new company that owns SFC will be punished for the mismanagment of SLH. Sure the FL rules leave things wide open for clubs to exploit it but if you make a rule you cant complain if clubs benifit from acting within them. So if Pinnacle give in to the FL then it will just leave things wide open for the FL to change things when ever they see fit. I think they should fight it and should they win it will set a standard that the FL will have to keep. The worry is that by standing firm SFC folds but IMO MLT and Pinnacle have gone far enough to not pull out and may turn there attentions to another local club much further down the pecking order. A quick change of name and a bit of money and they would soon be moving up the leagues and ready for a change of ground to SMS. F**k the Football League and there -10 points. A new Southampton FC will be born and the FL will look like a bunch of knuts and will have got nothing out of there ridiculas rules. If F1 can go up against there governing body and flip them the bird then I dont see why we cant.

I am guessing that they would just carry on talking to Pinnacle but what if LLS pops up and wants his 21 days? Can the administrator tell him to get stuffed or are they oblidged to give it to him if he stumps up the cash? Just thinking that if we go over the deadline would Pinnacle still be able to complete? Same thing was said on here this morning. Mark Denis told Alan Brazil that the pics came from Builders next door. How that means the meating between KK and MLT was or wasnt to do with the managers job or anything else is beyond me though. Fact is KK was spotted at MLT's house. Sky sports now report he has held discussions with MLT regarding how to take the club forward and it will be clearer when the take over is completed. Who took the photo means nothing though.

One of the things I like about this new group is that there have hardly been any leaks about what is or isnt happening. those that are close to the people concerned dont even know anything or at least have been told to keep quite, which they have. I must admit though, if I were someone at the top I would enjoy stitching up anyone that was leaking info by feeding them BS till they hang thems selves with it. Previous boards made up of conflicting parties were constantly leaking crap about each other and thats probably what made us concentrate so much on them rather than the football.

Thing is KK although not doing much, is still contracted to Newcastle in some way so technically he is still at another club. Shearer and Dowie are also at another club, we could make an enemy of Mike Ashley in 3 quick steps lol I would be suprised if we did go for Tisdale now after all the build up to KK. Standard has been set very high and taking a chance on a manager that just got his team out of the Blue Square Premier league is not on the same level as ex england manager is it?

Bit extreme that. I would settle for him being manager but I wouldnt want him to do a fellow saints fan. SMS is all seater now so you might find watching matches a little uncomfortable.

If the players dont know who its going to be I bet they are not too keen on WGS taking over with pre-season about to start. Build up to start a hard week of training to find out at the last min its going to be at least 3 times harder than you thought lol WGS and KK in that list are the 2 that I think could bring some kind of success this season. with the others building slowly.
