  1. At least this story will be giving less space to the "Man Utd didn't even make Europa league" story that could've been more heavily focused on had this story not broken.
  2. An 18 yo left back who doesn't count in the 25 man squad due to his age and would be a 'homegrown' asset on any team sheet in the future. THAT commands a lot of extra value.
  3. No thanks. The Xbox One is the best long term machine choice. Sony can't even afford to employ people in their UK Studios after Tax breaks take effect.
  4. No, why would we be. All technology reduces in price over time. 8500 achievements score on Xbox One games so far, so I'm alright cheers.
  5. This is not the same Manchester United from 10 years ago, this is a Manchester United who struggled to sign players last year, and probably will again this year. Their desperation was obvious with Rooneys laughable contract. He certainly isn't worth more than Messi or Ronaldo.
  6. Kagawa would be ideal for our squad....
  7. It would be stupid for Luke Shaw to sign for United. Yes there's a high wage, but there is absolutely no guarantee of Champions League or Europa League football in the 2015/16 season. In fact Its more likely that Rooney's ludicrous wage will cause a massive rift in the camp, as well as lumber Man U with having to pay any new signings with silly money. AND THEN you've got a squad of players geared up for European football but with 2/3 of the game time available next season. Any manager going to Man U with that current squad would be crazy, and player going to Man U with that current squad will be going for a massive pay day.
  8. Could've been quite funny, if they hadn't used Sunderland's hashtag...
  9. You didn't expect some developers not to show they do not have the skills to develop for Xbox One so quickly? from that article "We are working with Microsoft in an effort to release The Amazing Spider-Man 2 video game on Xbox One," you never know Beenox might be able to get their hands on DX12 early and really do the game justice, with the help of Microsoft.
  10. http://egmr.net/2014/02/japananese-stores-report-strong-ps4-console-sales-low-attach-rates-games/
  11. Because at he moment there is a dire shortage of PS4 games? Comparison attach rates show Playatation owners don't buy as many games. PS3 owners don't even have the time to pay all the games releases on PS plus. Unless you're a AAA release you're not going to get sales. And I know people who work in the games industry (more than a few got laid off in Sony studios mass UK culling last week. And the UK just got tax breaks). You want good games you have to pay for them. And developers will be going where the people who PAY for games are.
  12. Ps plus is fantastic for Microsoft. There's actually no need for PlayStation gamers to buy games any more. And last I heard, developers prefer people to pay for their games.
  13. You stated the PS4 version of MGS: GZ has outsold Titanfall. MCV are reproducing an ALL FORMAT chart. So accumulation of MGS:GZ on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360 AND PS3 outsold Titanfall on Xbox One and PC by 100 copies....
  14. Impressive how anyone can know sales figure when no sales figures have been released. Are you getting numbers from the Jackanory site vgchartz again? The site where they have to correct all their numbers when publishers produce actual numbers.
  15. Chart track are a very respected source of information. I believe it was you who didn't like it when they said that the xbox one sales had gone up 96% last week though.
  16. http://www.gamasutra.com/php-bin/news_index.php?story=18919 "Essentially, Walton is saying that he uses a number of high quality factors to produce his estimates, but can't mention any of the retail sources, or companies that VGChartz works with. Well, fair enough. But did you realize that VGChartz estimates can retroactively change by 100% or more based on 'official' chart results? Iron Man & Retrofitting One of the most unexpected results in the recent NPD charts for May was the appearance of the poorly reviewed Iron Man game for PlayStation 2 in the Top 10 of the charts, with 130,000 copies sold. Thinking about it carefully, with the movie rocketing to unexpected success during the month, it would make sense that the game would sell well. But it's not the kind of game that you're likely to estimate in the Top 10 - and indeed VGChartz did not, estimating 53,000 units in sales, according to VGChartz staffers. But what's surprising is that Iron Man for PlayStation 2 has been adjusted in its official VGChartz page so that its first four weeks of sales (encompassing May) add up to 111,000 units. Clearly, these numbers have been changed after NPD debuted, showing a couple of things. Firstly, if you were a journalist, you could have cited VGChartz as saying Iron Man was a flop on PS2, selling half as many units - when NPD vibrantly disagrees. In addition, and more interestingly, it shows that VGChartz trusts NPD over their own prediction data by retroactively changing things to better match. "
  17. They guess. Don't you ever wonder why no one quotes VGChartz? It's because the sensible world accepts they are bull.
  18. It's just a shame for ESO you have to buy the game AND a monthly subscription.
  19. That is their poor attempt to justify their 'numbers'. Sadly time and again their numbers are simply pointed and laughed at by people in the industry.
  20. http://www.examiner.com/article/why-vgchartz-isn-t-considered-reliable
  21. Pmsl. You do realize VGchartz is as good for accurate numbers as a chocolate teapot is for making tea. They get their numbers from thin air.
  22. We're talking about the potential difference of £3 million in prize money for every place this season... That matters.
  23. I'd say the obvious pattern guarantees us at least 7 more points with a potential of 3 other 'top of the table opponent' draws...
  24. Leaks of Titanfalls exclusivity only came out at the end of April 2013 after that blokes departure. He probably knew very little if anything about it./
  25. A CEO who left the position months before the One was even announced.
