  1. It was on Live on Twitter at 8.30am this morning, dont think the time was preannounced though
  2. "You could be forgiven for expecting a Blue Peter style totaliser being unveiled outside the ground for fans to keep a track of how much cash has rolled in. Not much has gone out yet."

so current state of affairs. Valenciennes have played 2 lost two, and sit at the bottom of the table (lost 4-1 in game 1 and 3-0 in game 2.) Göztepe have played one lost one. Losing their first home game 1-0, at a neutral stadium as they don't give special dispensation like the EPL have done with Luton this season. Despite losing in the play-off last season, SR seem to have a PR disaster on their hands with the stadium.
  4. Last year of Contract, and we dont have room for anyone if he doesnt leave.

They've been calling for the resignation of The Chief Financial officer Emre Can, (a different one) and they're mightily disgruntled about the first home game being played at a different venue.

  8. A snip of RM's comments on Bazunu.
  9. Same reason that Burnley havent bought Tella. They refuse to pay over £15million for any player.

Thanks for sharing that. It was pretty hilarious in September last year when it was put out. Its even more so now. but Matt Kilcoyne said it best at the time.
  11. We do need to make sure we continue to use our supply of hyphens on the back of shirts. Harwood-Bellis fits the bill
  12. No it was said he would be the best keeper in the Division this season, and that the errors came from the line in front of him.

Yep, centre ground, hence why Starmer has dropped his party election momentum / Corbynite pledges for the centre ground and there's barely a fag-paper for some policy Labour are shifting to and the Conservatives already have. Because it's centrist.

  15. What utter Bull. It was reported earlier in the Close season that players had taken a 40% pay cut. There is absolutely zero chance that Aribo was earning £117,000 a week last season if he was on £70k a year last year,(and I do think 'capology' can add an 'r' as a second letter of their name) it would be between £40k and £45k now.

Nowadays "far right" generally means "far right of me", hence why the most vocal of the generally centrist policies of the current government are Corbyn / momentum people. They throw the word "Fascist" as well as other insults about as they don't have any general coherent argument left. anyway.... heres when the Bibby Stockholm was described as a "Floatel", Last ‘floatel’ leaves Lerwick Harbour | The Shetland Times Ltd
  17. "Some jobs that were held at Southampton FC, such as scouting, are now under the remit of Sport Republic and are looking after three clubs rather than one. What areas does this help and what areas does it hinder?"
  18. Poch played 4-2-3-1 for us and Spurs. Lavia and Caicedo may be Chelsea's Schneiderlin and Cork.
  19. Looks like we'll have broken the record for incoming fees received by a championship club in any summer window. Its so important that we get the re-investment right.
  20. Is that their final bid?
  21. use "twitter.com" rather than "x.com"
  22. the SaintsExtra regurgitation account has lifted the line from this Daily Mail article. SAMI MOKBEL: Mauricio Pochettino's enthusiasm shone through in Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Liverpool and he has brought a clear plan to Stamford Bridge | Daily Mail Online the sole mention of Lavia in the article comes as follows: "The arrival of Moises Caicedo from Brighton can’t come soon enough for Pochettino, though at 5ft 10ins the Ecuador international won't solve the team’s lack of height in central midfield. Nor will Romeo Lavia, who is just an inch taller than Caicedo, who is also set to join from Southampton."
  23. Utter bull that there would be no contacts with Chelsea. Joe Shields is there.
  24. I think Bednarek proved last season that you should always exercise caution with words that will always be analysed by fans at the loaning club and the loaned to club.
  25. You don't dismantle a clubs internal structure and move to a shared group structure, just to sell the club a few months later. A lot of people now aren't Southampton staff but are Sport Republic Staff.
