A sad but necessary decision. Now we'll really see how good Sports Republic are. They should have observed Where the weaknesses in the coaching setups are including in Hassenhüttl and need to appoint to create a more rounded set of staff. Nows a good chance to put down a strong marker for what they want to achieve as owners. .

Worth noting that "Samuel Pain" started tweeting on 19th May.......

Rasmus Ankerson did a fair job of unearthing gems for Midtjylland and Brentford did well with the lowest wage bill in the League. Sports Republic have sold themselves on having this scouting app and network in the background. We should at least trust that this isn't the Gao era, we've got an additional decent sporting mind in the leadership team. I can't see us getting huge wage players, but I'm glass half full enough to think there'll be marked differences in the squad come August.

Spurs are just pushing buttons to see if the "deal with anyone but Spurs" rule still applies.

Very very big summer coming up. This is the first we'll see of what plans Sports Republic have for Saints. I'm sure Ankerson and Hassenhüttl will change things up. I just hope we get those changes out as quick as possible as the last thing we need is a restless fanbase over close season

Absolutely ludicrous. Close season is the first time the new owners get a chance to properly invest in the team. Ralph has been publicly backed in the media by the owners.

A lot of people have work or school in the morning.

a clickbait headline would read "Legend could be about to Leave Saint Marys" The clue that its not clickbait is that the headline tells you exactly what the story is about.

Wolves scoring higher for dives than Tom Daley. Doing well on takeoff and flight. Extra points for the rolls on landing.

Wolves player didn't go for the ball... Crazy decision.

The difference between watching a press conference with and without rose tinted glasses I suppose. I reckon my optimism is more accurate than your pessimism though.

Seeing as Livramento is injured and KWP has Covid he's guaranteed a start against Swansea

watch it back and judge for yourself (1) Southampton FC on Twitter: "Time to hear from the boss 🗣 Ralph Hasenhüttl speaks to the media ahead of Saturday's #EmiratesFACup tie at Swansea: https://t.co/SeXEOcDV2q" / Twitter Edit: The actual confrerence starts at 4min55

just spoke at the Swansea Press conference. Ive never heard him talk so positively about incomings. When asked about Newcastle being able to play Trippier at the rearanged fixture Ralph essentially said (and I paraphrase) "doesnt matter as we'll have new signings too"

nope. not taking wrong data. I was looking at the week ending 24th September. Summing the deaths over the whole period is pointless as the First and 2nd Dose was in progress. we need to encapsulate whats happening now, not what was happening before people had two jabs in the first half of the year.
-
nb. there would be a "single jabbed" column as well, that was 25 cases for the Week ending 24/9. and worth noting. there were 6430 people who died that week who had been double jabbed. 444 were said to have "involved" covid. and its always likely that the percentage will be higher as the higher the age, the more likely to be vaccinated.
-
Office of National statistics last data is from 24/9 published 1/11 95 covid deaths were unvaccinated 444 covid deaths were double jabbed. Deaths by vaccination status, England - Office for National Statistics

Obviously Simeu is with the first team at the moment, which would have had a negative effect on the B teams defensive capability.

If you're driving / parking tomorrow remember boat show is on, and there are 4 cruise ship departures.

A reminder that Elyounoussi put 2 past French Champions Lille last season His first is about 2mins into the video. Highlights - Lille 2-2 Celtic | BT Sport

19/20 we obviously weren't ready for Elyounoussi. We've adapted to his style now. 😁😁
