That's my take. Main game is unsettling oppo defences and hold up play, and he's good at that, rather like Che Adams.

Put it this way, if we are promoted with Tonda I would anticipate more of an Adkins first season than a Martin first season as a return. Current squad is a much more cohesive and resilient unit than those who lined up v Leeds IMO.

In his first game for us I noticed that he was very vocal, organising the back four and getting messages up the park via the centre backs and defensive midfielders. In those first few games the back four actually looked a bit bemused, but clearly the positive effect has been revolutionary. The best goalkeepers we have had at SFC were communicators who went the extra mile in terms of bravery - Peretz brings this.
