More strings than the London Philharmonic!

He's been kept firmly in his hole since the summer. Think Dragan may have laid a patio over it...

Highly unlikely, but would be a lovely Christmas present.

Typical long ball football

In a nutshell.

Those first few pre-window closure games this season he was really putting himself about, rattling oppo defenders and keepers. He’s not done that since and it’s essentially his one strength.

Anything that winds up West Ham supporters is fine by me. Long May his exile continue (to piss the Bethnal Green diaspora off). 👍

WBA were a solid physical and athletic side who gave it 100% there. We showed just how far we’ve come in recent weeks to see that out for an essential home win. We might have been more comfortable if Charly was confident to shoot from the edge of the area. Suleymana also really needs a goal. Credit to Adam Armstrong, from where I was (in line) that looked a very tight angle and consequently a very good poacher’s goal. Agreed with those around me that this is was just what we needed into the international break. Get Smallbone and Stewart up to speed too. Felt like I was supporting an old school saints side today, first time in a while. COYR!

Yes, big Dave captained England three times. What a player he was.

That 4-1 was a particular favourite of mine, took them apart and Clough praised us for it.

Man is a genuine legend and it would be nice to see a statue in his lifetime. Those years were the absolute best time to be a Saints fan, at it's peak attacking beautiful football with a relentless workrate and team spirit. Brilliant blend of experience and potential, and the Dell rocking. Deserved to win the league and cup double in 1983/84, but sadly not to be.

Special adapter on the dash to charge the heated rollers. -
Yes, it's going to be an ask, especially with Holgate likely in at CB, the Bednarek / THB partnership is the foundation for our recent upturn in form.

Wonder if they still exist somewhere in the ether, or perhaps on one of Keith's hard drives in the attic? Be great to have a proper read through - nostalgia. I daren't work out the cost to my career in terms of lost hours, but on balance worth it. Lots of offering out into the 'real world' went on, fucking top chumpery! -

Was that Stephanie? I wasted days and nights on the early iterations of the Boards, it was certainly a raw experience and can't remember any bans, despite a lot of people making a huge effort. Free speech writ large, and periods of comedy gold. I used to love the cut and thrust with Corp Ho, and some of the less sensory fish molesters. He and I ended up in a DM state of equilibrium and mutual respect whilst Rupert took our club down the shitter. I miss Gemmill too, old school Saints fan and sound as a pound. -
Got to win this one and I think it will be tight but we will get it done, likely 2-1. Should Ipswich lose and Leeds draw Saturday we would then be in third, six points off second place going into the break. What a turnaround and psychological boost that would be. COYR.

Assume it was an escape from reality!

Luton have been robbed!

Those first few games the main difference was that he was really putting himself about, harassing defenders and the oppo keeper. Since the close of the window this part of his game is missing. Looks to be about commitment. He’ll be offski in January one way or another.
-
On his debut Fraser showed immediately what he brought to a side - positive direct energy, and that’s what he’s bringing now. Also showing our goal shy strikers, Adams and Mara, how to finish like a good pro!
-
Piece of piss - lolz. Second half we are right on the money so a deserved win. Clean sheet too with the crucial THB Janny B partnership looking solid. Glad it was our Jockanese Duracell Bunny that nicked it with a cool finish. In many ways Fraser epitomises what is being formed - a close knit, hardworking squad of players who aren’t beaten until the final whistle. Every great saints side I’ve seen had that about them. Need Leicester and Ipswich to keep their blip going whilst we stay unbeaten for a while longer. COYR!

The point is with Barry Winks this could be extended to between 6-11 yards at least. It would be magical.

Ralphmas Malpherson!
