  1. Will almost certainly be DM
  2. Tbh I saw alot of players just clowning around in the gym. Can imagine the uproar on here if this was happening under Jones... In all seriousness though, if they arent engaged in the first few days of pre season, after delivering the most pitiful season in living memory, then they really should find a new occupation.
  3. Coady is a solid signing, but they could lose Evans. Faes is a liability as well - was it the two ogs in one game last season? Goals make the difference in this league and atm Leicester have much better striking options than us
  4. Didnt even hit 5 between his spells at Stoke and Preston last season
  5. All three of us will lose a number of players. Will be very surprised if Barnes, possibly Daka and Ndidi were still at Leicester come the end of the window Similarly I expect Leeds to lose Harrison, Rodrigo, Koch and maybe more. We'll likely lose Lavia, JWP, Salisu, ABK and maybe more. It will all be about the replacements. Yet to see any encouraging links (apart from Downes maybe) but it is still early doors
  6. Thank fook we've avoided Harry Wanks. We've been forever linked with him. May find his level in the Championship but the perfect example of a player who has made a career of passing sidewards/backwards and running alot
  7. Tino linked with a move away and now theres going to be a mass exodus according to some 😂 season cant start soon enough if this is how the next 6-8 weeks is going to be on here fs. Three guarantees; Players will be sold (Lavia, JWP and KWP almost certainly) Players will be bought We wont have our pants pulled down as we're not desperate to sell, particularly if we sell the players listed above. 15m for Tino is derisory and hopefully we've told Eddie to piss off
  8. Do they want KWP or Livramento? Wont be going for both, and wont be getting either for less than 25m
  9. Are the players back today?
  10. It was 6m and probably the going rate in this day and age for somebody that has come through the Barca and City academies. City rated him highly and put a buy back clause in the deal so perhaps they see a future PL player
  11. Not as nonsense as writing a kid off after a handful of appearances in the PL, in a team that was a shit show at the time. The fact you expect him to come in from u23 football and set the world alight. Lets see how he develops and if he gets game time in the Championship before writing him off (even though you already have)
  12. You've got that right. And for an 18 year old who was flung in at the deep end for a few games last season, he didnt disgrace himself. Much better than Small who was being touted as a future star when we signed him
  13. The 3cm that KWP, Perraud and Bree have on him makes all the difference....
  14. I know hes a skate bastard
  15. 60m for Mason Mount with his contract expiring next summer 🤯 yes we lost a bargaining chip when we were relegated but if we settle for anything less for JWP, we're idiots. Hes 3 years left on his contract too
  16. Please enlighten us all as to whats going on then?
  17. Nearly a month since it was first reported. I know theres the compensation issue, but a full month is taking the piss. I know pre season doesnt start until the end of the month, but Im thinking about what planning/discussions could have been done in the intervening period. Unless hes still been able to have those conversations without a breach in his Swansea contract.
  18. Why not? They're different kinds of players and they seem to be targeting both. Arsenal needed another CM initially and now they also need to replace Xhaka
  19. 3/10 is being kind to Orsic
  20. Hopefully it turns out to be more Pellegrino than Pochettino for them
  21. Maresca did turn us down but did any source say he was first choice though? We could have been putting out feelers for interest among a number of our preferred candidates simultaneously
  22. The delay isnt ideal for us, but its also not ideal for one of our championship rivals in finding a replacement. Swansea looking to League 1 for their new manager (Michael Duff who has done good jobs at Cheltenham and then Barnsley)
  23. All I know is he was the Swansea player sent off in the playoff final a few years ago when they lost to Brentford. Seems an odd link given hes 29. Not advocating that we go down the youth route again for our transfer strategy, but perhaps more players in their mid-20s. If we're targeting players nearly 30, then I would be hoping for alot more experience than Swansea, Wigan and Falkirk
  24. Would be happy with something similar to this. Was one of the retro tops the club was selling not too long ago
