Good thing to get Onuachu moved on. He was just a poor fit once crazy Nate got the sack. That being said, I think he only made 4 starts and played a total of about 400 minutes under the two of the worst managers we've had and in arguably the worst team we've had. For that reason I cant really criticise him too much and we've certainly had worse players

There could be similarities in managerial ability.....we just don't know yet. Kompany did next to nothing in two years at Anderlecht where the expectation was to win the league. The Burnley job came with some PL quality/experienced players and parachute payments and he performed well. Martin has done very little at MK Dons/Swansea but now he has better players at his disposal and better financial backing. Let's see how he gets on (i.e after a season as opposed to 5 games)

Burnley were sitting 16th with 6 points after their first 5 games last season. Lets see where we are after the next 5 when some of the new players have had time to bed in. Long, long way to go, but we need to drastically improve defensively

How can you not blame the manager for the way we play. Yes Wilcox wants to push the possession model, but RM has been employing this style of play for a while. Hes hardly doing it just to 'fit in'

Never said it was a great window, but its still a very good window regardless of yesterdays result. We were always going to lose a few of our better players and we've absolutely maximised those sales. Yes I know the money doesnt help us if we dont spend it, but we were never going to spend massive amounts in the EFL. Also got rid of a few players who were surplus to requirements (Lyanco, Diallo etc, a few more could still go). Charles looks a fantastic prospect. Downes, THB, Fraser and Stewart are all great additions for the Championship. Holgate and Manning are both good additions for the Championship and proven at this level. Not much to say about our third choice GK signing.
