Looking like another Lampard and to some extent Gerrard (although he did have a good spell with Rangers) in the management stakes. A successful playing career doesnt always translate to successful managerial spells, no matter how many doors are already opened for you.
-
We've had 4 games in 9 days so changes were always likely, even in defence. Playing Stephens and making changes to the backline wasnt what cost us today, it was at the other end. Would prefer KWP or Bree at RB obviously, but Jack is a solid option. Hopefully we add a RW in the window which means that KWP returns to his default position however
-
We'll happily take another Rickie Lambert
-
QPR denied a penalty at the end too

Pompeys form has hit the skids as well which is great. Were cruising at the top of the league but not anymore. Be funny when they lose out in the playoffs again
-
Why are people getting worked up that their goal should have stood....it didnt and theres no VAR (which is great for the championship). There were a few offside decisions which didnt go our way. Such is football. Even if it had've counted, we probably still would have found a way to win such is our confidence at the moment

Could and should have been 5 or 6. Sloppy from Baz to gift them a lifeline, but all in all the teams were on different levels for most of the game. The train rolls on

Whats the lottery numbers?

An absolute catastrophic appointment. Thats all that ever needs said. Enjoy the game. Plymouth might get the result you're hoping for so you can come on here and try to claw back some credibility 😘

Nothing personal at all. Made a post about how laughable some of the old posts in this thread were and me old mate CB told exception to it (probably because he contributed to many of those posts) and had a go at me for a few posts I made 9-10 months ago
-
An absolutely catastrophic appointment is the most glowing endorsement 👍🏻. Im sure there are plenty of other whopper posts if I had've looked, but then again I wouldnt put it past you to delete old posts. You seem that pathetic
-
Can you blame them for not voicing support in a sea of abuse? Fabrice was one who defended RM and was getting pelters from all angles.
-
Never called for him to be sacked....but it was an absolutely catastrophic appointment. Lets just keep him in post for the banter. Good thing Wilcox etc did
-
Well actually no. We had beaten City in the League Cup, Palace in the FA Cup and Everton away in the league for the first time in however long after 9 games of Jones in charge. It rapidly went downhill after that though with the Brentford and Wolves games being particularly bad and his erratic post match comments getting out of hand
-
Well the club know better than people like you, thats for sure. You just said it yourself you idiot, knee jerk sacked RM. The only people who would have supported that move after 8/9 games of the season would have been the likes of you. You specialise in knee jerk reactions all because you likely decided you didnt want RM from day one. You and a few others could do with apologising to the likes of manji and Fabrice, ridiculed on here because they rightly thought the club should give RM time. Jones is a different csse study - a guy who lost the run of himself with the mad pressers and post match comments. If RM reaches those depths then I'll happily call for him to be sacked
-
The man I want in charge is what the club deem to be the best one for the job, which right now is RM. I thought they would they stick with Jones for longer, regardless of relegation. I was wrong and I've admitted that. Im not a fan of recycling managers at an alarming rate but the club made the right decision in the end. The abuse and hate directed at RM on here after a bad run was embarrassing. He interited a team with a losing mentality, lack of confidence and lack of direction. It was always going to take time to learn a new way of playing and build the confidence back up. It might not last and our form might hit the skids, but the least we can do is get behind him and the team, especially when things arent going well. Theres some 'fans' who would probably enjoy us struggling, just so they can proclaim how they were right that RM wasnt the man for the job

The forum knows best 😂😂 wise up fs

😂😂😂 its getting boring pal. Surprised you havent been back through this thread to delete your posts. Some absolute whoppers - but thats hardly surprising given your track record. Might throw a few up for comical value
-
Pages 77-80 odd of this thread are a fantastic read. A football fan forum always knows best 😂😂

Another winner, this time in the Edinburgh derby
-
With one Scottish striker likely leaving during the window and another out injured for the forseeable, I'd look to another to bring us some much needed goals. Lawrence Shankland - 15 goals for Hearts this season and scored for Scotland too. Been linked with Rangers and a few other clubs. A better option than Miovski who we've been linked with. 28 which might put some off but it wouldnt cost us too much. Plus, our record of signings from the Scottish premier hasnt been too shabby
-
Hes been doing that most of his time here. Not going to start a new habit now 😂

You're busting for us to get beat arent you?

A comparison to previous Championship seasons after 22 games

On course yes. Lets see whether they can keep that up. One maybe, dont think both will be able to -

Said it on another thread. If we average around 2 points per game by the end of the season (90+ points), then we'll be very close to automatic. We're on track for that despite the bad run. If two teams manage to beat that number then fair dues because its been enough pretty much every season
