  1. An absolutely catastrophic appointment is the most glowing endorsement 👍🏻. Im sure there are plenty of other whopper posts if I had've looked, but then again I wouldnt put it past you to delete old posts. You seem that pathetic
  2. Can you blame them for not voicing support in a sea of abuse? Fabrice was one who defended RM and was getting pelters from all angles.
  3. Never called for him to be sacked....but it was an absolutely catastrophic appointment. Lets just keep him in post for the banter. Good thing Wilcox etc did
  4. Well actually no. We had beaten City in the League Cup, Palace in the FA Cup and Everton away in the league for the first time in however long after 9 games of Jones in charge. It rapidly went downhill after that though with the Brentford and Wolves games being particularly bad and his erratic post match comments getting out of hand
  5. Well the club know better than people like you, thats for sure. You just said it yourself you idiot, knee jerk sacked RM. The only people who would have supported that move after 8/9 games of the season would have been the likes of you. You specialise in knee jerk reactions all because you likely decided you didnt want RM from day one. You and a few others could do with apologising to the likes of manji and Fabrice, ridiculed on here because they rightly thought the club should give RM time. Jones is a different csse study - a guy who lost the run of himself with the mad pressers and post match comments. If RM reaches those depths then I'll happily call for him to be sacked
  6. The man I want in charge is what the club deem to be the best one for the job, which right now is RM. I thought they would they stick with Jones for longer, regardless of relegation. I was wrong and I've admitted that. Im not a fan of recycling managers at an alarming rate but the club made the right decision in the end. The abuse and hate directed at RM on here after a bad run was embarrassing. He interited a team with a losing mentality, lack of confidence and lack of direction. It was always going to take time to learn a new way of playing and build the confidence back up. It might not last and our form might hit the skids, but the least we can do is get behind him and the team, especially when things arent going well. Theres some 'fans' who would probably enjoy us struggling, just so they can proclaim how they were right that RM wasnt the man for the job
  7. The forum knows best 😂😂 wise up fs
  8. 😂😂😂 its getting boring pal. Surprised you havent been back through this thread to delete your posts. Some absolute whoppers - but thats hardly surprising given your track record. Might throw a few up for comical value
  9. Pages 77-80 odd of this thread are a fantastic read. A football fan forum always knows best 😂😂
  10. Another winner, this time in the Edinburgh derby
  11. With one Scottish striker likely leaving during the window and another out injured for the forseeable, I'd look to another to bring us some much needed goals. Lawrence Shankland - 15 goals for Hearts this season and scored for Scotland too. Been linked with Rangers and a few other clubs. A better option than Miovski who we've been linked with. 28 which might put some off but it wouldnt cost us too much. Plus, our record of signings from the Scottish premier hasnt been too shabby
  12. Hes been doing that most of his time here. Not going to start a new habit now 😂
  13. You're busting for us to get beat arent you?
  14. On course yes. Lets see whether they can keep that up. One maybe, dont think both will be able to
  15. Said it on another thread. If we average around 2 points per game by the end of the season (90+ points), then we'll be very close to automatic. We're on track for that despite the bad run. If two teams manage to beat that number then fair dues because its been enough pretty much every season
  16. Another win for Wednesday under Danny Rohl. Three wins and a draw against Leicester in their last five. Impressive, especially considering how bad that Wednesday team were when we played them first game
  17. Cardiff was pretty impressive. It wasnt quite 1970 Brazil though which is the expectation for some on here
  18. I seem to recall words like realism being banded around two months ago when people were arguing that Russell Martin wasnt good enough a manager to even get us to the playoffs. How times have changed. Theres a mountain to climb but plenty of the season to go
  19. Averaging two points per game in the Championship has been more than enough to go up automatically in each of the last 9 seasons (and counting). We're just shy of that mark so what Leicester and Ipswich are doing is unbelievable. If they both sustain that and hit the 100 point mark then fair play. Theres a long way to go still and while today is disappointing, a point at Watford isnt the end of the world. Plus we've had our fair share of late winners
  20. Would be fantastic but I cant see either committing to a club that might still be in the EFL next year. Both could pick up PL moves in the summer if they keep their form
  21. We just need to worry about ourselves. This weekend WBA play Leicester and Leeds play Middlesboro, but it wont matter if we cant beat Cardiff. Similarly Ipswich start a run to mid Jan soon where they play Leicester (twice), Leeds, Middlesboro, Sunderland as well as away games vs Watford and Stoke. Our run of games during that time are much more favourable, but we need to get the points on the board
  22. Well he could have came out and praised the players for what was really a pish poor second half like some previous managers. He was brutally honest which is needed at times. Also I don't know many managers who openly admit to the media that what went wrong was their fault.....its all about self preservation in the cut throat world of football management
  23. Apart from the goal against City in the League Cup (super finish btw) and his cameo in the comeback draw against Leeds last season, he has shown very little. I'd be surprised if hes not loaned out (with an option to buy) to a Ligue 1 team in January. With Stewart back fit, AA playing well and Adams still an option, there is no space for him. We also have players in midfield chipping in with goals. Would rather we offered what limited minutes he would get to one of the kids
  24. I see that WBAs first game after the international break is home to Ipswich. Could do with them winning that. They're a decent side and will very likely be thereabouts for the playoffs
  25. About 40 pages of this thread would make for tragic reading. A bit of patience was always needed
