Agreed. Also while its all well and good saying that we need a run of form going into the playoffs, that good run of form could also result in us narrowly missing out on autos and the deflation that comes with that

Norwich pissed away a 2 goal lead at Wednesday #playoffwatch

Definitely not renowned for his energy 😂
-
Leeds not over yet
-
Joe Aribo got MOTM for all those who said he was shit
-
They beat Leeds. We beat them. We must be better than Leeds then
-
Alfie seems to think Joe is having a decent game

Red herring definitely isnt the right choice of phrase. A unbeaten run of 5/6 games maybe, but not over 25. I seem to recall that most of our draws during the run came as a result of late equalisers, either for us or against us. Definitely a hallelujah for our late equalisers as it helped us to avoid defeat. Definitely dont recall any hallelujahs on here for ones we conceded late on. Its also very easy to say that if we had more WWLs then we would be in a better position than we are now. However once the team suffers the disappointment of defeat, theres no guarantee its followed up by another run of wins. Our unbeaten run was a massive contributor to the position we find ourselves in. To say otherwise or its a red herring is nonsense

25 games unbeaten was a red herring? 😂

Its all about promotion, whether that comes via 1st, 2nd or even 6th place, it ultimately doesnt matter. Honestly couldnt tell you most of the teams who won the Championship or finished 2nd prior to last season. If Leicester, Ipswich or Leeds win the league, that will matter very little if we're lining up against them next season. Its really a waste of thumb energy arguing about the success or failure of RM and 'Russball' with the business end of the season still to happen. There will be plenty of time for that come the end of May and beyond. Its time to get behind the team regardless of your views of RM

Unfortunately its where we are in the footballing food chain. Once clubs like Chelsea and United come knocking, theres no chance in holding onto them. Not overly bothered in him leaving as the recruitment has been average. If we had've signed a striker who wasnt crocked, the table would be looking different right now. Its more the timing thats annoying, more shit on the shovel when we've enough already

Sickening, but thats what supporting saints is all about. Hopefully this is our lowest point of the season
-
Fair enough. But assume we leave the fee aside, his performances have been very poor. Sam Edozie has shown him up and looks the better prospect
-
For close to £25m, he should be tearing it up in the EFL. Instead hes yet to score in 21 games and has only 3 assists. Dibling, Edozie and SAA would all offer more
-
Could you imagine this forum if we were doing a Leicester. They were miles clear not too long ago. Lets see how Maresca handles the pressure
-
Scoring 4 when we're 'not clinical enough' and so 'wasteful' in front of goal. Not a bad place to be. Just need to get back to keeping clean sheets. Although to be fair Sunderland's goals today were pretty decent
-
Hope the tractor implodes now
-
You know that they've conceded more than us right?
-
Recently we have yes, but thats not been the case over the whole season. We've had good defensive runs in the league (11 clean sheets total) and need another to finish the season And so do Ipswich, in fact they've conceded more than us, but they're still only 3 points off the top

Bree at RB for me. Hes got a bit more pace than Stephens and it'll be needed against Liam Millar who is very direct and tricky. Bazunu Bree THB Bednarek KWP Downes Smallbone Brooks Aribo AA Adams
-
I agree that some of the changes dont make sense, but hes hardly making them for banter or to 'keep his mates happy' as is the weird suggestion on here. I would like to see THB back at CB and Meghoma or KWP at LB like many of us. The players quality can only come out in a system that works. Attacking wise its definitely working atm (we could have scored 6/7 today) and defensively we obviously need to improve. However, its a bit odd to blame RM for the defensive liabilities (wasnt Calderwood getting the credit for our defensive improvement earlier in the season), yet give only the players credit for our attacking ability.

Sub scored the winner. RM was responsible for subs last I checked

It really shouldnt surprise you by now 😂😂 kneejerk central on here
