  1. Spying on Oxford....fucking hell. I can accept Boro and Ipswich due to the magnitude of both games (still incredibly naive of us), but fucking Oxford. Its being reported that Tonda is holding his hands up and didnt realise the practice of spying wasnt allowed in England. Like come on! Just pack your things and fuck off out of the club, take Spors with you on the way
  2. For a knee ligament injury, he done alright to play for another 45 minutes
  3. THB and Ayling were talking and hugging later in the game so it couldnt have been too discriminatory what was said 🤷
  4. Boro did absolutely nothing from the 60th minute onwards. Were out on their feet and hoping for penalties. We didnt create much but it didnt matter in the end
  5. Yeah there was a ball available which Stephens tried to hand to Targett, but instead he wasted time by walking down the line to the ball boy to ask for his ball. The ball boy said nope 😂
  6. The keeper we've been linked with time and time again. No thanks, we'll keep Peretz
  7. I think we should go with a strongish team vs Preston. Rest a couple, yes but there's a good chance we can still get 4th as I dont think Boro will beat Wrexham away. Better to have the home leg 2nd in the semi final
  8. We had 12 points after 13 games and were sitting 3 points above the relegation zone. I, like many on here gave us zero chance of making playoffs. The fact that we're even in the conversation for 2nd is truly remarkable. Ipswich will get over the line, but we're the best team in the playoffs. We just need to make sure that we turn up when it matters
  9. Even if we come up short, neither of those two teams are worrying me should we see them in the playoffs. Think Milwall would cause us the most difficulties, given how direct and physical they are
  10. Just seen Milwall's run in - Stoke (A) Leicester (A) Oxford (H) Doesnt get much easier than that fs
  11. The last 10 minutes of the game was a bit of a joke. Both teams happy to take a point and just let Coventry pass it around at the back
  12. All we can do is win our remaining and see where that takes us. The fixture congestion will not be easy
  13. Things are just too good at the moment that it doesnt feel real. The pessimist in me cant help but think that we'll throw in a bad performance at the worst possible time - like the playoff final
  14. Cyle Larin was excellent, and has been for a few games now. The deadline day doom and gloom is looking rather silly now. Hes been an inspired signing
  15. Wouldnt overlook these 4 games. QPR second behind us in the form table and the other three fighting for survival. They'd much rather be playing teams with nothing to play for than those in a relegation fight. We arent going to catch them though, lets be realistic
  16. Sometimes you just have to win ugly. Something Saints teams havent done in a while. Another clean sheet to boot too. I was very critical of Tonda at one point. Thought it was another loony SR decision which would fail. He has proven me and a lot of others wrong. Regardless of how the season finishes, he'll be here next season and I'm excited what he can do when he has more time with the team
  17. Their last two games may not be as difficult as they seem. Coventry could/should be champions (although will want to finish at home with a win) and same Boro could be confirmed 3rd and resting players. We could do the autos going down to the wire
  18. For once working to our benefit. There have been other Goztepe players who we should have considered, like Romulo and Juan
  19. That is a great picture 😂
  20. We beat Swansea on boxing day in the last Championship season?
  21. Definitely something wrong with our scouting* if these are the players that are being recommended *thats if we even have any scouts left. Probably relying on spotty data analysts brought in by Rasmus
  22. Downs had scored 11 the season just before we signed him. That worked out superbly for us
  23. Because he's a big man don't you know. Apparently the solution to all our problems
  24. Exactly, Sunderland bought nearly a whole new team and they seem to be doing ok
  25. Baz was the perfect example of where the game went mad for a while (blame Pep) - a keepers distribution and starting plays from the back was more important than actual shot stopping. Same with 'inverted full backs' who cant fucking defend - we've got one of those too. Good to see the game having a bit of a reset with so much emphasis on set plays and long throws etc this season......oh and a goalkeeper who saves a shot now and again 😂
