We had 12 points after 13 games and were sitting 3 points above the relegation zone. I, like many on here gave us zero chance of making playoffs. The fact that we're even in the conversation for 2nd is truly remarkable. Ipswich will get over the line, but we're the best team in the playoffs. We just need to make sure that we turn up when it matters

Even if we come up short, neither of those two teams are worrying me should we see them in the playoffs. Think Milwall would cause us the most difficulties, given how direct and physical they are

The last 10 minutes of the game was a bit of a joke. Both teams happy to take a point and just let Coventry pass it around at the back

Wouldnt overlook these 4 games. QPR second behind us in the form table and the other three fighting for survival. They'd much rather be playing teams with nothing to play for than those in a relegation fight. We arent going to catch them though, lets be realistic

Sometimes you just have to win ugly. Something Saints teams havent done in a while. Another clean sheet to boot too. I was very critical of Tonda at one point. Thought it was another loony SR decision which would fail. He has proven me and a lot of others wrong. Regardless of how the season finishes, he'll be here next season and I'm excited what he can do when he has more time with the team

Their last two games may not be as difficult as they seem. Coventry could/should be champions (although will want to finish at home with a win) and same Boro could be confirmed 3rd and resting players. We could do the autos going down to the wire

Baz was the perfect example of where the game went mad for a while (blame Pep) - a keepers distribution and starting plays from the back was more important than actual shot stopping. Same with 'inverted full backs' who cant fucking defend - we've got one of those too. Good to see the game having a bit of a reset with so much emphasis on set plays and long throws etc this season......oh and a goalkeeper who saves a shot now and again 😂

It's also worth adding that the January window is always more difficult. Teams are unwilling to sell mid-season unless they have a good replacement lined up and players are ridiculously overpriced. When was the last time we actually made a decent permanent January signing? Gabbiadini? We've had some decent loans like KWP and Brooks, but plenty of panic buys like Tall Paul, Orsic, Carrillo and Sulemana 💩
