Agreed, he's very understated on and off the pitch. He could've just chucked it in and collected a wage when he fell out of favour but he's worked hard to make himself important again.

I'm watching Elijah Adebayo closely tonight, no links but I think he could do a decent job if we want to spend all our magic beans on an attacking midfielder. Didn't see too much of him last season but what I did see, I liked. Good technique and obviously good physically. 10 goals in the PL is nothing to be sniffed at (no pens).

I've said it before but why can't we go out and get two or three more like him? 24-26 so plenty of upside, comes from a middling league but has experience in Europe, decent fee... it just makes sense. Is it me or has scouting gone backwards? It's not just us, all PL clubs just seem to be tossing about the same pool of players ad infinitum.

I really haven't because three of those four were brought in for the Premier League, were nowhere near being ready and we were relegated. Charles wasn't even trusted to play in the Championship and it will be no different in the Prem. I understand they are young and can't be written off, but if they aren't trusted to play - then what was the point of signing them?
