They are the best in the league, clearly. lets see if they can shut down Leo. If they can, they will win

It’s heading that way… pretty quickly to be fair. Rarely do big media organisations survive a Jimmy Saville, and the BBC have a few of them.
-
Then it should flourish if made to fight for its own food.

Being asked for an email address at the checkout. Players hugging it out when opening a box on Deal or No Deal

I have had Netflix for years and it is generally good. Now they are dipping their toe into sport, coupled with acquiring parts of Warner, this could be a game changer. I conducted some research on Reed Hastings a few years back.. he was pretty unique at the time with his management of staff, and that was a big part of their dominance, which is remarkable considering they had no content of their own like Disney / Paramount etc. As for Netflix. I am amazed the Premier League and/or the EFL do not cut out the middle man and do their own Netflix of football kind of thing

Eddie Hearn was on the radio yesterday, acknowledging that for this event AJ was the junior partner (as this is not a proper bout). He stated the reason for doing this was for the money (and some rounds).
-
Why is Damion Downs not paid as much as Erling Harland...? I think we all know why, all thanks for Reform Trump and Robinson.
-
AJ is probably being paid so much money he will “drag it out” a bit. listening to the radio today, Netflix acquired 2 million new customers on the back it the Jake Paul v Tyson fight. The average life spend of a Netflix customer is about $900. Printing money for them. AJ is ultimately the junior partner in this setup

Agree this is the Jake Paul and Netflix show. Joshua will earn a huge wedge, and try not to embarrass himself

Nighty Night for some alternative comedy. also, 2 Doors Down made me laugh
-
This is all part of a marketing thing for Netflix, or that is part of the gig… so will go in a couple of rounds at least.

BBC had the golden goose when the concept of a Netflix style service was showing its leg. They had an enormous catalogue of content and could have removed the shackles of the license fee and dominated parts of this industry. They have well and truly missed the boat, and any additional/optional charges they try to introduce will largely fail, mainly due to the shit content compared to other services.

The current rhetoric is all about a European joined up approach to try and add pressure on Russia regarding accepting a ceasefire/peace deal. it is entirely laughable to suggest we are all in domestic sort of war posture right now.

So much to unpack here…. Just can’t be bothered

I see the BBC are floating the idea of commercials and a new "subscription" service, as it faces financial ruin. All of their own doing....

Why does it have to be a direct flight? Fecking hell, there were Afghani asylum seekers going back there on holiday....did they swim? -

Make it far less inviting, absolutely. The country cannot afford it.
