well, there we go.

One thing we have a good track record on, is keeping a player who wants to go to a very big club

Many fans (and more so, Martin himself) tell us that this is no normal season. Right now, we are 6 points better off at the same stage than Sheffield United last season. Imagine not even equalling the points total of Sheffield United (who are f-ing crap)....with a not to how terrible the current bottom 8-10 are

Let me guess, you were going to vote Tory until that moment?
-
yeah, but...it is all about getting people on the pitch who deserve to be there....etc etc etc
-
Good to see Comic Relief moving with the times, and shifting from the racist Lenny Henry. It was his last gig in front of the camera for this cause... Phew.

depends where you look..

Great, what does that have to do with the western world experiencing interest rate hikes and people taking out massive mortgages when they were at 0.1%?
-
what one? The Ukraine War? Insane Green Agenda? The ludacris Furlough scheme and the associated lockdowns that cost the country £400bn ?
-
Don't tell me you are a right old Tory, who thought interest rates would stay at 0.1%?
-
well, yes

LOL

I wonder on the state of readiness he has French troops to deploy into Ukraine on this basis? or did he mean, send troops in led by the USA?

The Luton story is pretty boring now. they are crap, a little less crap than the other 2 promoted sides, but they can’t go through a season dropping this many pints from positive positions.

Best job in the country

There you go. Someone you do not agree with must be some sort of racist... -

Transfer fee is relevant. I should imagine he commands a relative salary for a fee attached.

When people talk about this being a freak season. This time last season, 1. Burnley 80 points + 43 goals 2. Sheff U 67 points + 24 goals This season 1. Leicester 81 points +41 goals 2. Leeds 79 points +40 goals Lots of talk that any normal season we would be top 2 with the points etc that we have. That is correct. We currently have 6 more points and a +2 GD on Sheffield U of 12 months ago (and they are f-ing pump). Top spot is much of a muchness with Leicester/Burnley. Last season had 1 standout side, and another who broke away a bit towards the end, this season is clearly somewhat different at the top...

I agree with you. I am sure Sully will have a very good career, just not suited to our style at the moment, and as you say, he probably sees himself a premier league level player. In the right team, he might well be. I think if we swapped Piroe with Sully, both Leeds and Saints (given the styles) would benefit
-
unless he keeps the 3, and puts KwP left back....
-
In his pre match pressers, he has been open about getting players on the pitch who deserve to be there.
-
Bit like Alcaraz, his style is not something suited to Martin's football set up
-
Any danger of answering the question?
