I wonder if his desire returns just as his £6m per year contract expires in the summer?

Martin Presser... The emphasis has not changed. Learn as much as we can and recover Always the same, like when we lost, nothing changed now lads in really good spirits, in a really good place most players used in the games, and they all know they have a chance We have to be demanding to finish the week off, really looking forward to it The worst trap is to assume we will beat Rotherham. That is external, but not inside the camp the players are giving everything this week. We are aware of the expectation from the fans tomorrow, but Rotherham are fighting for their lives No easy game in the championship, we know this They will fight for everything and make it really tough for us, they will have little external expectation, and that is dangerous we must approach it the right way on the pitch They are a team with good experience in the league, they did a great job last season and have a brilliant mentality we are aware of the threat they pose, we must be ready for their hard work We defended well in the last 2 games. But that is part of us looking after the ball better also we found much better balance in the way we play in the last 2 games. pressing has been outstanding

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

I recall the derision at the time it was announced. white elephant etc (as it appears to now be). But, that was probably the usual vocal minority to be fair. -

Binning further HS2 work is great, right? It is what everyone wanted from the off. -
Looks like PGMOL disagree with you. It was a blatant penalty, and for the life of me, can't think why you would suggest otherwise.

3-0 to saints Arma, Sully and Charlie
-
Southgate is a moron and now a hindrance to the national side
-
As we know, referees make mistakes....and in our games. It was a penalty and it is very odd that you insist it was not

LOL
-
Matt Targett makes his Champions League debut, under a manager deemed not good enough for Saints, when linked, thrashes PSG
-
He had his arms around his waist whilst falling into him = foul
-
They have a few injuries and horrific away from home....0-1 then lol

Is our squad better now than in our promotion season?
AlexLaw76 replied to Ex Lion Tamer's topic in The Saints
Without hindesight, yes it is better now. This squad should be serious contenders for top 2. If you asked anyone at the start of that promotion season, no way. Obviously, we had some serious players and leaders in that team -
LOL. he rugby tackled him.

The Bednarek challenge was a penalty all day long

He'd probably get in ahead of Adam Armstrong though

Good but scrappy game. Got to see a different side to the players (real grit at the end). However, not winning that game would have been a poor result, they have a very large injury list, and we were hanging on in the end with a good defensive wall. The defence was good, can't see a reason at all to change that on Sat. Downes was very good, Stu and Smallbone were tidy. Charlie was OK. Sully was excellent going forward, woeful in defence - which against a full strength stoke/better team, could easily cripple us. Arma was busy and suits a wide forward position. This is a set up that suits us more. More pragmiatism, but we still clearly have better players than most. I think having Che or Stewart for Alcaraz would be better...as we offered nothing as a goal threat in the 1st half, better in the 2nd. Mara has to score that chance BTW.
-
how does he have a stinking attitude? very strange comment As for starting line up, I am not sure having alcaraz in the hole really works. Until the goal last night, we offered zero goal threat, but scored (again) on our first shot on target. This against a team with monumental injuries...so hardly their best 11
-
As there should have been, they have a massive injury list
-
It was a good defensive display, but they also have a horrific injury problem at the mo.
-
Downes was good!!??
-
Really? Their first shot on target was in the 96th min
-
Not pretty, but a win and we should have got another with 2 great chances Lets be straight, the ref was favourable to us....Stoke should have had a penalty. Lets make it 3 in a row on Sat...
