They started in 2014. They were preparing for it for years.

They could have had a significant military without having nuclear weapons. Instead, they chose not to.

They are about to massively increase defence spending. Better tell them not to!

That was a choice, certainly after 1990

For too long have been living under the protection blanket of the USA and to a lesser extent, UK and France. Germany FFS!

still no where near enough and doubt it will happen without clever accounting! our forces are disgracefully hollow and whilst we handover billions of £ with of “stuff” to Ukraine (some will be obsolete of course), I doubt it will be back-filled in a timely fashion. The Army’s front line is 13500 soldiers (and shrinking) - that is it! throwing significant money at Defence is never ever a vote winner, sadly. Not that the MoD (like many Govt depts) have a good record of spending large sums efficiently!

Are Saints funds being used to fund a Turkish Div 2 club?

Plenty of players in relegated clubs are pretty good. Off the top of my head from the last few years... Tarkowski, McNeill, Pope, Dennis, Joao Pedro, Gibbs-White, Sander Berge, Mitrovic, Lerma, -

Ok, Tarkowski, Pope, McNeill. We would never be in for players who have established themselves in this league, it seems -
Something has to end/reduce this soon. Either a ceasefire (with Ukraine conceding something), or Putins demise!

Why are proven players too expensive for us? Is Ben Mee too expensive? If so, why? -

Ralph gets wanked over with far less to deal with.....

I think Nedum's point (and I may be off the mark as dipping in/out of it), was that nearly the whole set up did not like him, neither did the hierarchy. His 'charm' to the fans/cameras was all an act.

Longy for another 12 months? Then the prolific Tella?

I listened to the Guardian Football Weekly podcast with Nedum Onuaha the other day. This sounds much like Roberto Mancini. Nedum stated that Mancini was very rude/difficult to work for. Poor communication and if you were not in his immediate thoughts, you knew it with silence. Only for the quirky comments, smiles/jokes and fashionable scarfs to be on display in front the cameras/fans. Difference, Mancini delivered a premier league title, but was not liked at all and was out pretty quickly after.

Got to be better than this...

So Lyanco maybe out, Bednarek linked away. Stephens out of Ralph's circle of trust and valery pretty terribele. Lets hope the new 20 year old is good enough to be good from the off!

Will Ralph make it to Boxing Day? 50/50 in my opinion

There is a view across the pond (albeit probably insignificant, if even true) that if a small NATO country is causing trouble for Russia, just kick them out of NATO. https://min.news/en/news/ed9648f088965daff92b79ffe551f2b4.html

Scored 6 in 15 games last season (but played/scored more the season before). What happened last season?

I would be very annoyed if he was to go to a non-champions league club (or Man United). But which CL would want him? Liverpool? No. City? About to get Phillips. Spurs? Just signed Bissouma. Chelsea? Very unlikely/No. Man U? After De Jong, are they not?

What a strange decision. Probably the same people demanding that abortions are illegal want to ensure everyone has access to automatic rifles!
