The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

Look, a sneaky peak (just 2-3 days) of our efforts to support Ukraine (and this is what has been allowed to be shared). This ramped up a great deal as the threat of invasion became more likely. This was alongside significant training, intel and such like. Of course, posting this makes me Tory/Russian SCUM! -
It is happening everywhere

I know this. I agree It is not me being wrong about Germany inflicting self harm in bid to provide assistance. -

Weird. Germany are already making massive changes to their national and foreign policy I suspect much more is to come. They are doing this as they have been literally financing Russia (and this war to a degree). -

You are just rambling now, as you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. Germany are not sacrificing anything meaningful. No one really is. But to suggest they are going to cripple themselves by turning off something that is not even working, shows you up for an idiot. There is a great deal wrong with Government; the handling of this situation certainly is not one of them. -

You assume they want to come all the way to the UK? These are not economic migrants that want our benefits, they are a fiercely proud people. Germany have not turned off Nordstream, they have halted certification of Nordstream 2 (which was/is not even operational and will probably commence sometime in the future). Sacrifice eh! I believe Norstream (which you mentioned) is still operational and will probably make Russia a nice tidy sum of money from the EU/Germany (remember, not all banks are banned from the main international system). -

How am I apologising for anyone? the issues of foreign money in London has been going on for 25+ years, and far from limited to the Tory party/Russians. If you want to talk about influence, have a closer look at the EU, puts us to shame. They (well, Germany) have effectively financed all of this. How the hell am I apologising for Russia? What is wrong with you? -

This is joke right? You are another one that see everything that the Tory's/PM does is bad, no matter what -
You do know we have done more than most nations on earth. I am so sorry if that does not fit into your warped view that everything he does is bad, but it is true. Whether we have done enough, who knows.

Adkins to save the day?

At loooooong last. Throw a few £ on shares with Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrup Grumman and BAE sharpish

If Russia fail, without NATO needing to put someone in harms way, do you think there will be a thirst from governments/people around Europe to massively increase defence spending?
-
I think Brentford are in serious danger of going down! Noticed Ivan Toney on the bench - no idea if he has been injured. They can't defend/score goals, and the sending off yesterday was from a pretty nasty challenge. Their fixtures are a mixed bag - Norwich & Burnley in their next 2, with Leeds at home last game of the season (with Everton away just before that)

What we get in the news, the Guardian, Mail, RT, and more importantly in this conflict - Twitter/social media, is part of the action taking place. No idea what is false, staged or true.
-
The biggest takeaway from this, the information war is more critical then ever.

That was handball, surely?

Great ball by hoijberg great finish

I can see a couple of changes. Perraud, maybe Stephens, maybe Redmond to start
-
absolutely, and has played very well for England over a decent period of time. Trippier has looked class with the couple of appearances at Newcastle.

To reverse the vast cuts to defence (alongside paying for COVID) it will take many many years and 10s of £billions of permanent increased spending in that area. This will mean welfare, education and/or even health absorbing cuts in spending (imagine selling that at the next election with national debt around 100%)! Can you recall a time in recent history where increased defence spending has been a vote winner?
