Absolutely this.

But who can we get to break Dean's leg then?
-
There is nothing to beat the live, match day experience for me. The walk to and from the ground, the texture and green-ness of the pitch, the spontaneous roar from the crowd. I hope that will be one of my deathbed recollections.
-
I hope you are right, if he puts Djeneppo there, we'll know he's thrown his toys out of the pram.
-
It is easy to see why he became a bit part player at Everton, talented and dangerous when he's on it, but inconsistent. He hasn't done anything too damaging defence wise, but the attack breaks down too often with him and we don't have the attacking quality all round just to shrug it off, knowing another chance will come soon.
-
I agree, he doesn't look unhappy, and doesn't look like he's not giving 100%. Every team has a bad patch in the season, I just hope this is ours, mostly draws and a couple of losses. Probably not though. I think we'll be fighting to get into the top half come the end of the season.

Standard fare for stopping teams that press, "Get into them". It shows that Arteta learned something from the cup game. It could be a way forward for Arsenal, but teams with plenty of skilful "top end" players often don't take to it. Guardiola has used that approach both at Barcelona and Man City to a greater or lesser degree. Working hard isn't an inhibitor to skilful play, but the attitude of the top players is often an inhibitor to hard work though.

Understandable, this lockdown is much, much worse than first time around. I am retired with seemingly, not a care in the world, yet I wake up in a panic at 3.00 o'clock and can't get back to sleep, then fall asleep in a chair in front of the stove about 2.00 o'clock in the afternoon and feel REALLY old.

He is a squad player for them, and if Valery had kept half an eye on the job, Cedric would have been a squad player for us. H was about OK before going to Arsenal, no better.
-
Good indicators, and he is doing well so far. But the stats need to stand up against the strength and speed of the PL teams. I like what has been on display so far though.
-
It looked like a very sensible explanation to me. Why the aggravation?

The good posters no longer post here and you can see why...

Don't take responses as an indication of lack of interest in what you have to say. On any forum, there are often dozens, probably hundreds of people who never or seldom post, but are avid readers. The less people that post, the less there is for people to read and forums become stale. -

Brilliant. -
All in all, he's just another brick in the wall.
-
Sekou Koitus sounds rude.
-
Man U would take him on a free at the end of his contract. All he needs to do is carry on the same as now.
-
Exactly the logic used to exit Burnley probably.
-
Exactly, in terms of the clubs who might be interested and the deals available, he can afford to wait until this time next year, when he will be free to talk to whoever he wants. Man U could do with him, they routinely buy "older" forwards and get a lot out of them for relatively little outlay. Martial continues to disappoint, and Cavanni won't be tearing up the games like he still can do now. Big money, top club, European football, and maybe a PL title or two and a cup or two.
-
In this case, he had no further symptoms, but got a test via Zoe based on his non qualifying symptoms as both his parents and parents in law declined the permitted one family meet up over Christmas until he got a test.
-
Yes, my son tested positive the day after he came out of a correctly observed self isolation.

Most academies have a high rate of lads who never get near regular first team experience. The PL have the pick of the best talent from all of the UK leagues, as well as the majority of European ones. The advantage of an academy is that the cost is very low to the cost of buying average players in the market, who even then may not come up to scratch. So selling one or two every year, with one making the first team regularly is a good investment, even if many are simply released and find their own way after that.
-
I hope he stays a while too, but Pochetino has shown you don't have to win anything to get a top job.
-
I think he was just celebrating and exceptional goal. Who wouldn't?
-
Ho ho, have we a victim here?

Disgraceful punditry on Sky, it is all Liverpool, shockingly disrespectful. No analysis of moves, just sh!t punditry.
