And we're out. Not sure what your point is? It's pretty obvious that logistically we couldn't have left the week after the vote was returned, but I agree that the time frame should have been shorter.
-
I'm not. Not sure anyone is...
-
Lol. I think you already know the answer to that.
-
Can you give examples of people that aren't?
-
You are aware that the negotiation has two sides? Conversely, if the UK prefers WTO rules to what the EU is proposing that is up to them.
-
Great news.
-
We did, last January. We've been discussing a future relationship. It's now clear there won't be one. It's not the end of the world.
-
Are you claiming that not one single person that voted to remain also voted for the conservatives at the last election?
-
Is that applicable the other way round?
-
I thought that Remainers were the clever ones? https://www.channel4.com/news/factcheck/factcheck-shaky-evidence-for-starmers-attack-on-johnson-brexit-promise

Technically 'everyone' is getting what was voted for - unless of course you have emigrated to the EU to enjoy the bountiful fruits on offer across the Channel.

He's just pushing on to get the record for the most number of executions by a President. Presumably he wants the record as he feels people might forget about him otherwise. I'd also caveat my lighthearted glibness by the fact that the US Supreme Court has to sanction any executions so it's not just Trump being 'spiteful'...
-
You almost sound like you're embracing 'no deal'
-
What can we look forward to on January 1st when no deal is the reality? Give us your best (worst) case scenarios so we can compare with the reality later in the year...
-
Yesterday they carried out the execution of a man who was convicted in 1999 - over 20 years ago! If Trump was doing it 'out of spite' wouldn't it have made more sense for him to do so at the beginning of his Presidency? It's not like the guy wasn't already in prison on 'death row' at that time!

It's the only possible conclusion that can be drawn really. Four and a half years of negotiations, elections, law making and lots of cross channel visits, but in the end it is all completely ruined with less than three weeks to go, because Boris cracked a shit joke and looked scruffy (which is his 'trademark' anyway isn't it?)

So pretty much what GM stated when he said we had FTAs with 'almost' 60 countries then?
-
Haven't we always traded with 2 of our top 3 trading partners on WTO terms and tariffs?
-
Jesus wept! I used to think you were just pretending to be 'Tim, nice but dim', recently you are do everything in your power to prove that is exactly who you are. GM originally stated that we have FTAs with almost 60 COUNTRIES - I've put the important bit in capitals for you so you don't miss it - here is his statement : You've then argued with that statement claiming there are only 28 after 1st January - here is your statement : It's only now that you are claiming FTAs as opposed to the FTAs with COUNTRIES that GM stated. At no point before then did you claim it was stand alone FTAs, so it stands to reason you were arguing (pointlessly) with GMs statement about countries. As I said before, those 'thick as shit' people in glass houses, shouldn't be throwing stones.
-
Lol. Badger counted 54, you counted 28. Those 'pig shit thick' people in glass houses shouldn't be throwing stones

Not really bothered about the 'list' tbh. The point was that £17bn isn't exactly 'tiny' as Tim claimed. Mind you, the 'list' does pour scorn on Timmy's claim of 28 deals done to date.

And yet we have one with Canada who also have one with the EU. Theoretically, nothing stopping a company from Canada buying goods from the EU and then selling them on to the UK before they've even left the EU - obviously adding on a small mark up for their trouble - FTA with the EU via the backdoor and plenty of money to be made for anyone looking to take advantage...
-
Like the tiny, £17bn one with Singapore. https://www.ft.com/content/51b7eb87-5812-4765-a483-d50c2c66f130

Like Canada?
