  1. Also the £2m? that Kanu is claiming which seems to have been conveniently forgotten, but I doubt has gone away.
  2. Yeah, but that was done on the 'published' business plan. Since then the business plan has been revised four[?] times, once for every re-arranged court visit No-one has been privvy to the details of these revised business plans, so we can only assume that Colin, who hasn't actually seen them either, is right in that absolutely everything has been budgeted for, twice.
  3. Looks like knobhead steve sold his flat to the wrong buyer! Apparently the football club has a buyer that will pay more for it than the trust will. Get over it knobhead steve!
  4. As I mentioned yesterday, the FL comeback to this statement will be quite clear "we are only considering the PREFERRED bidder as put forward by the administrator PKF". If / when PKF change who their preferred bidder is, the FL will consider the bid. Until then it's trust or bust business as usual
  5. I think you also have to factor in their repeated use of the phrase "preferred bidder" - i.e. until PKF approach the FL with a new 'preferred bidder' that isn't the trust, then they really can't be arsed to 'consider' any other bids. Basically they keep batting the ball straight back into PKFs court each and every time PKF come up with some FL related statement. Luckily the phew are too stupid to realise what they are doing and so lap it all up. For the record Corpse, personally I would love to see your club wiped off the face of the planet. Since this doesn't seem to be happening in the near future, then I, like many, many other Saints fans are more than happy to see the trust take over with their open and transparent communication and literally no sign of infighting at all
  6. He does, but the adjournment and subsequent blaming anyone other than the trust would need to be made today
  7. I thought he was knobhead neil
  8. Look at Europcar. I believe they do a 7.5tonne Luton tail lift, which if you passed your driving test early enough you will be able to drive on your licence. Maybe also look at some of the local Southampton based firms - although obviously you'd have to return to Soton - as they may well still have some Luton's lying around.
  9. It's also showing the possession stats : Pompey 20% Away team 60%
  10. The cynic in me would suggest the 21st of Feb - 7 days from tomorrow
  11. That's not banter, that's pompey banter. pompey banter is much betterer and bester than any other kind of banter.
  12. I'm confused Is it still 'trust or bust' or are the trust now the villains standing in the way of Saviour Keith? If the trust are still plucky heroes, when do they become nasty villains? Also, what happens when the trust bid goes bust and Keith takes over. The mugs who paid over their £1000 will surely want this back, but the HNWs will want to take back what they've donated[sic] from the money the trust have collected. Who will be the hero when this happens and who will be the villain? We need knobhead neil to clarify who is the bestest this week and who is the worstest
  13. No, definitely not! You will not get a job in the UK until you move back to the UK if you went this route! Think about it, you apply for a job, the application is successful, you get offered a phone interview - slight problem being 11 or so hours ahead, but still just about do-able. You pass the phone interview and get offered a face to face interview. Do you fly back at short notice - a couple of days or a week's notice at best - shelling out for the flight in the hope that you might get offered the job? No chance you're gonna risk it. This is why no agency will even bother to call you in the first place, because they can in no way guarantee to 'deliver' you to the client! My advice, keep doing the temp jobs, as it is, believe it or not, a lot easier to get a job while you're in a job! They may not be what you want to do, but like you say, they're good experience, they'll be paying you some money and you'll be meeting people who may or may not know of someone else hiring. Try contacting some of the bigger companies to see if they offer an internship - near you, you have Friend's Life in Salisbury, Unum in Dorking and a whole bunch of FS companies in London! The finance market is pretty dire at the moment with the likes of Skandia in Southampton shedding staff hand over fist, however the word 'on the street' is that they have all pretty much 'over culled' in recent months, so will be looking to replace with new blood in the not so distant future, so the future could be profitable for you
  14. Lol. Looks like a home game from the emptiness of the stands
  15. Does it really matter? The Polish originally migrated to the UK to work - nothing sinister about that - and traditionally they took on roles at the lower end of the job scale such as farm hands, pot washers, kitchen hands etc, the jobs that the unemployed of the UK didn't want to look at because doing that sort of physical labour didn't appeal to them considering they could earn the same amount of money - generally more! - by sitting around the house and watching Jeremy Kyle whilst claiming benefits! Given the choice of employing a Polish person to work in the kitchen - when I was running pubs and restaurants - or an unemployed British person, it was always a simple choice, choose the Polish person with a work ethic over the lazy British one every day of the week! You have to remember that the Poles migrated to England shortly after the collapse of the Communist party in their own country which led to pretty awful working conditions, so doing manual labour over here was a far more pleasant alternative! Having said that, yes, you will get some of the dregs from their society living here, which is inevitable, but by and large they are a friendly nation who just want to earn and living and raise their kids the best they can. I can't see a great deal of harm in that to be honest! My opinion may be slightly skewed, due to me having a Polish Mrs for the last 12 years Our neighbours are Czech and also very friendly, hard working people who have a better standard of life over here than they had in the Czech republic - we no longer live in Southampton, so can't comment on Shirley.... Personally I wouldn't begrudge anyone from any nation with which we have open borders, the opportunity to live in the country and earn a reasonable wage for a reasonable days work, well maybe the French! Also, according to the BBC, Polish is now the second most common language in the UK.
  16. I suspect they were too busy spending their money in and around Fratton, otherwise they would never generate a couple of million pounds for the local economy each and every game.
  17. As long as they grasp on to the spoils of cheating with the fingers of their fetid corpse, then the life long season ticket sold to the smelly one will be valid. They day they grow some balls and walk away from their tainted history is the day the tattooed spazzer will have to pay for his ticket.
  18. There is. However that date ONLY applies to new admins in the season - ie go into admin before the date and receive the penalty straight away. Go into admin after the date and the league decide whether you get the penalty the same season or the next - if you stay up you get the points deduction, if you go down anyway you get the points deduction the following season. This doesn't apply to the DFCSBs though as they went into admin last season. The FL do however still hold 'discretion' over the points penalty that is due when they exit admin and we could well see them apply the penalty next season if/when the skates go down at the end of this season - assuming they come out of admin before the end[?] of June. If they don't they're toast anyway so the FL can keep the points as it makes no difference
  19. No it won't! I'm not sure how many times it's been said, but here goes - hopefully for the last time!! THEY CANNOT START A SECOND CONSECUTIVE SEASON IN ADMINISTRATION. So, it will not be a 17 point deduction if they are in Admin 2 seasons running, it will be the end, finito, last one out turn off the lights, no more DCFSBs, game over, insert coin to start again.
  20. No. They've re-iterated their rules that you cannot start two seasons in the same administration. Therefore if they are not out of admin by June they may as well liquidate as the league will not allow them to play, so their existence is pointless. I guess that means that even if the court allows them a 12 month extension, only five months of it will be relevant anyway!
  21. While I understand what you mean, I don't believe 'karma' will be restored. The yoghurt knitters will be heavily involved in this case and I guarantee that one of the people who tackled the masked gunman will be charged with manslaugther or something similar. It's a shame, they should just leave it as is : gunman with mask dies trying to rob a bookies. Sadly the final headline will be : innocent bystander trying to protect bookies from masked gunman goes to prison for 20 years for trying to help
  22. Of course not. Why would he need to? After all, all he/she would have to do is take a look at the re-worked business plan - the one that Colin hasn't seen yet - and then he/she will be assured that when the PST take over everything will be sorted innit! Not allowing an extension to the admin will mean that the PST will not be able to put into action the re-worked business plan that Colin hasn't seen that will definitely put the club on an even keel financially in four [possibly] years. Where's the risk in that? Personally, I'm loving this new era of clarity from the PST, however it does strike me as rather odd that it's only Saints fans that seem to give a monkeys lately, presumably all the stupid skates like knobhead neil have been sucked in by the spin and rowlocks and the others just don't care any more - yeah good luck getting them to write a cheque for a grand
  23. Seriously? I know most people think the police are pretty stupid, but it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to work it out! Viking posted which day it was that he was 'accosted' by the po-lice. He also posted roughly what time [iIRC] and also which airport he was at when it happened. Now I'm only guessing here, but I don't think that the po-lice at that particular airport were involved in many of these incidents on the day in question - I'd be surprised if they had more than two! Viking also stated that during his 'accosting' he had to give the po-lice his details, which they would have recorded in their little pocket book thingy's. It therefore would not be that hard to give the copper in charge a call, find out the details and then phone Viking! People need to stop making a drama out of a crisis! I suspect they were calling for Viking's feedback, which is actually much better than them ignoring it altogether, as it gave Viking the chance to explain why he felt he was harshly dealt with!
  24. No capitals please Mr Chalet. Until knobhead neil learns how to write properly he doesn't deserve to have his name capitalised.
  25. But just think, there's nothing stopping you from going to live in Bulgaria or Romania either
