  1. Source? You've stated, repeatedly, it WILL cost.£12m to get rid of Martin, which we can't afford. Maybe my maths is wrong but he has 2.5 years of his contract left, so where does £12m come from if 2.5 x £2m = £5m???
  2. I dont disagree. But for them to move, by your own admission, they would have to move to a worse club, as you've already said there would be two other teams with a better squad than ours. Or do you now think there would be more clubs that are better, rather than just two?
  3. THB, Fernandes, Sugawarra, maybe even Janny B. That doesn't leave a squad that's way better than all but 2 other clubs...
  4. On what are you basing your claim of better clubs? Maybe some worse clubs will want to buy them to improve their squads...
  5. And the extra programme sales, don't forget them.
  6. Plus we're way too smart to analyse the opposition before games. We play our way. Fuck everyone else.
  7. We definitely won't sell a single one of our current squad. No sir. No way. They're all staying even if we have to kidnap them.
  8. On what is your claim of a merry Christmas based?
  9. Once everyone's donated their spare Lego we can crack on for little cost.
  10. So what?
  11. We don't all hate our friends and family as much as you clearly do 😉
  12. As you've already pointed out we've already spent many millions but to what effect? A bigger income for us is like leaving a key of coke unattended at an NA meeting, bound to be abused.
  13. I assume season ticket sales are counted whether they bother to go or not - the seat is 'sold' after all.
  14. Other than you, who is he highly respected by?
  15. Astonishing how low our expectations have fallen
  16. Stop! Stop! It hurts!
  17. Ruud Man Nistelroy?
  18. Caught his own lunch? Probably an imaginary whopper for his imaginary friend...
  19. I've said it before and I'll say it again. I believe the extension element was written into the original contract and based upon promotion. Therefore it was not something the club could 'choose' not to bother with as it would have been a contractual obligation. The only argument is whether they should have breached the contract - and the likely financial restitution in doing so - and whether that would have been better value for money than what we currently see!
  20. Britain is no longer 'traditional Britain'. Probably hasn't been since just after the 1st world war.
  21. And yet, allegedly, that was the plan. The new plan of course is to get us back there as soon as possible - we even spunked millions of this year's transfer budget on players for the Championship next season. Allegedly.
  22. Martin 6.7% Depressing.
  23. Fingers crossed - that would be pure perfection to hold all of those records at the same time.
  24. It's legal to have three wives in some countries. It's legal to not allow your wife to leave the house unaccompanied in some countries, even then they have to be covered head to toe. It's legal to marry girls as young as 12 in some countries. Seems odd that you would trumpet what is legal in some countries as if those should be the morals we live by here.
  25. Have any of those people ever cited a 'source' when they've said this?
