Horrendous idea. Sadly, these kind of tactics would make us no better than our inbred cousins down the road. We signed the contract, we have to honour it! However, doesn't stop us demanding more from the scousers to ensure WE get an amount we are happy with

Perhaps Matt Le Tiss can answer that one for him???

So, now the England team - and AL - are flying off to the World Cup today, does that mean that this transfer rumour will now come to an end? Obviously Liverpool would want to do a medical before signing on the dotted, which seeing as AL is going to be on another continent for a good three weeks isn't going to happen. Or, does it mean that a good world cup showing from AL would put another £10m on the price tag? Would that be considered as 'good business' or are we still up the creek without a paddle?

Blackmore: Players angry with Board & Reed

A no ambition 'yes man' would surely have said 'yes' by now wouldn't he? -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27371960 So, if we don't accept the offer by Sunday, then he won't be a scouser next season? Also, does anyone know if the sell-on clause to Bompey is true? It's sounds unrealistic that a 12 year old would have had a 25% sell-on clause included in any deal, but I guess this was signed and sealed in the Lowe era so anything's possible?

Really? A joke amount? Personally I think £4m for RL is a good price! He was always going to walk if Liverpool came knocking due to him being a scouser and supporting them. Although he has been VERY good for us, I think he is now 'past his best'. Don't worry, this happens to every footballer at some stage in their career - even Giggs could only last until he was 40!!! I would take £4m any day of the week for RL and certainly don't think it is a 'joke' amount!! The key test will be who he replaces him with - if he can get Danny Ings for £4m, then I'd consider that to be an excellent bit of business!!

You realise that when her father passed away, he was a BILLIONAIRE - TWICE OVER!!. Do you really think that asset stripping for a mere £50m is worth the time, effort and grief, when it is likely she will earn probably at least this amount every year in interest alone - not counting her income from the multitude of other businesses she now [co]-owns!!!

Is that before or after admins 1,2,3,4 & 5?

To be fair, I would suggest stollen countries would be more like Germany, Austria, Switzerland, perhaps even Poland

According to Stan, just sheep. If you read his tweet it doesn't make any sense at all : "Falklands? wasn't anyone's. We just thieved it". If it wasn't anyone's / didn't belong to anyone, who the hell did we thieve it from Stan?

Isle of Man is pretty ropey. Krakow is basic to say the least.

Fellas, can anyone recommend a reliable garage for an MOT.....
Weston Super Saint replied to The Farmer's topic in The Lounge
Go ans see Graham Tubb. Garage is just off Hound Road - come down Hamble Lane and turn right at the roundabout to head into Netley. The road isn't marked on the map but is just after the BT exchange building. Turn in to compound and head round the back of the buildings and Graham is last unit on the right. On the map it is marked as "Weston plant services". Graham can never be described as the quickest mechanic in the world but he is very good. He doesn't do MOTs himself but will take it to a guy who can. Very honest prices as well, which is rare for a mechanic!!! -
18,000 is VERY ambitious for next season! How are the season ticket sales going? I'm guessing not that well this summer as surely factless knobhead would be trumpeting the bestest season ticket buyers in the whole land by now...

Tourist Advice needed - Nice - Provence area
Weston Super Saint replied to dubai_phil's topic in The Lounge
I wouldn't worry about it. Doubtless the French air traffic controllers will be on strike as usual during the summer and you'll be re-directed to Italy. Probably easier to research Rome... -

Buy seeds, grow chillis, sell them, would be the obvious answer....

I thought they had to be over 18 to be a shareholder? If that is the case, then surely a 'Junior (under 17) (trust shareholder)' can't exist, whether early bird or full price.....

As others have said, no probs at all. Yes it hurts, like a bastard, but then having your ******** manhandled and bruised will do that! The benefits - as long as you are sure! - far out weigh the negatives. Don't do what I did though and go on a rib off the isle of man for the weekend just after the op, that only compounds the pain - learn from my mistakes!!!

That's contradictory to the elegant prose of the Villa supported that writes for the local rag.....

Used them to fly to Poland, Krakow then by train to Zakopane in the mountains. This was a good six or seven years ago before smartphones and emails in your pocket, in fact I remember going to an innernetz cafe to find out the Saints result. Anyway, whilst in the mountains, RyanAir decided they would cancel our evening flight - we had a train back to Krakow in the morning giving plenty of time to get to the airport etc. We arrived in plenty of time for our flight, only to find that RyanAir had cancelled it! They did though send an email to inform us we had been moved to the morning flight! Not a lot of use when you don't have any access to emails! They wouldn't give us any accommodation for the night so we had to source and pay for it ourselves. They wouldn't book us on the morning flight the next day either as it was full! However, we knew they would do the same to the next lot of passengers the next day so were happy to take our chances of a seat being free! The reason they gave for cancelling the flight - both ours and the flight the next day - there were 'animals' on the runway! This at an airport that was fully functional with plenty of other planes taking off and landing! Frankly they lied, but we couldn't prove it. Terrible airline that couldn't care less about its customers.

Have they dropped their claim to Oxlade-Chamberlain as a product of their fantastic yoof setup as he doesn't get a mention???

I bet the dirty skates are gutted right now - never rely on a scouser

"Payment must be made in advance to secure your place" Also to ensure we have enough money on hand to pay the caterers as they have withdrawn our credit line again
