  1. Nah. They're trying to decipher the crayon scribblings and funny looking drawings in the margin. Apparently one looks like it's labeled "Monkey chicken petting zoo".
  2. Did Colin have no input into the PST bid? Especially the condition from PCC that said they would not lend any more unless there were no other bids - along with many other caveats I would suggest that this affects the trust's bid in a pretty disastrous way!
  3. Indeed! Allegedly he only owed HMRC £1.8m when he left. That's what, 20 times LESS than Pompey have managed to accrue! Pretty sure HMRC would back a takeover led by him to the hilt! They'll know they'll still be shafted for tax, VAT, NI etc, but it'll be a hell of a lot less than the shaftings they've taken in the past!
  4. Two things I don't get : 1. Neil Allen told us that there was no need to panic, there was enough money to run the club until January - well, there is if a couple of mugs cough up £60k! But now all of a sudden the club will be liquidated in two weeks [again!] if Chinny doesn't take over! Which one is it? 2. Is Chinny a hero again now? He's been a hero and a villian so many times, it's hard to keep up! I guess we should all really on Neil's informed opinion
  5. Too long, didn't read?
  6. Yep. I wonder how many of the charities they've ripped off could be paid back with the £60k - probably all of them???
  7. Is that the same as Chinny 'offered' to pay all the creditors under £2.5k
  8. No, no, that can't be true! PES told us that they NEVER boo their players, never ever! Well, except for the players that want to be paid their wages for turning up, those guys are fair game to be boo'd!
  9. All available online these days, no more need for the door to door sales! http://www.amway.co.uk/home/cleaners
  10. The first car is a taxi. Is it Jeff or Essruu?
  11. Fear not! Tomorrow is a home game, and according to the PCC that will bring in a handy £12.5m to the Island of Dr Moreau [sp]. With 15,300 tickets sold, that's just a mere £817 per fan[sic] for the day. I do hope someone has told the 2,300 Boscombe fans to make sure they've got enough cash in their wallets
  12. Where have you been FF? Lampitt applied to become a secured, golden ticket, football creditor when they went into admin - or just before? Neil Pompey Pravda Allen missed this little gem at the time as he was far too bust foaming at the mouth and protesting the innocence of the Russian pension stealing mafia owner. It is amusing that they are able to once again circumvent the rules by signing players on a monthly non contract, contract. I expect the FL will be closing this loophole quicker than Avram's trouser come down..... nah, you know the rest, Rallyboy has been telling us for way over a year now! The interesting thing though, is that they can 'technically' continue to trade in administration for the rest of this season, confirming to come out of admin the day after the season ends. During this time, they can continue to sign the non contract contracts every month, thus circumventing the FL's stipulation that they are under a transfer embargo! They will also circumvent the -10 that the league have imposed for when they do come out of admin - thus it will be applied next season! And to top it all off, they can completely ignore the FL's financial prudence measures as these won't become effective until after they come out of admin! NOTE, THIS IS ALL "TECHNICALLY" POSSIBLE! Whether it will actually happen is another thing altogether. Although the best thing, if it did happen, it would ensure that every single last penny of PPs would be paid to Birch and PKF!
  13. Does anyone know the definition of fickle?
  14. To be fair to Claridge - who IS a tool - even if he had those thoughts way back then, there is no way he could have expressed them to the knuckle draggers! Look at all the Pompey fans being branded as farking scaaaammmmmaaaaasssss and b-anned from POL just for holding an opinion contrary to the norm! Add that to the treatment of TBH et al who were perceived to have 'wronged' Pompey by asking for the money that was rightfully theirs! They received bile and resentment from the local rag and death threats from the local inbreds. Had Claridge been brave enough to voice his opinions a few years ago, I suspect he would have been pushing up daisies ever since!
  15. Anyone know when the squad numbers need to be registered with the league? Would be a nice Sunday afternoon giggle to take a look at the PFC submission page
  16. Pay back the money you STOLE to fund your club for 5 years? I'm guessing that is too much to ask, so I'd be more than happy with the death of Portsmouth Football Club 2010 / 2012 / whatever it's called this week, and a new [no history, no bestest fans in the world ridiculous strap line] club starting again and paying it's way. However, having read some of the guff the trust has released recently about competing at the highest level etc etc, I suspect they still haven't learnt the lessons from the past Having said that, I would be more than happy to show my [reserved] support for a pheonix club.
  17. It's odd that it's been met with such indignation by the few! Almost as if they expect every bill to be paid in full!
  18. But, you're missing one important point The PPs are paid to the club - less what has been apportioned and agreed with the PL to pay off football creditors - and the club / owner is free to do with the rest as it pleases. So Chinny needs only wait until next August - presumably this August and February payments have been apportioned to pay of football debts - then he can trouser £4m followed by another £4m in Feb 2014. I'd expect Feb 2014 to be the start of the Valentine's day massacre.
  19. I suspect they have their plus and minus buttons mixed up
  20. Indeed. So he's had the ability all along to negotiate the compromise agreements with the players and allocate the PPs towards paying them! He hasn't done this for some reason, so the person responsible for liquidating the club will be him!
  21. So, according to the PCC document, Voldemort's 'warchest' with the trust in charge would be a whopping £350,000. With that he needs to buy what, 14 players? Therefore he needs to find 14 footballers with an average salary of £2200 per week at a cost of no more than £25,000 each And he has about ten days to achieve that magnificent feat Now I'm not sure if I want Chinny in charge, or the trust, or the grim reaper! It really is a tough choice!!
  22. LOL. Pompey Trust have now got an account over on POL for the bestest to ask any questions they want and the PST will answer them! So far, every 'difficult' question has been answered with 'your comments have been noted' Even the easier questions have been greeted with a whole bunch of diplomatic ******! It's 'car crash' entertainment for sure Lost Transport seems to be posing the trickiest questions - is that you Mero?
  23. I'm not entirely sure, but he seems to be suggesting people would be happy to travel from LONDON to do the following : Go to a concert - don't they have some HUGE concert venues in LONDON? Go to the cinema - don't they already have cinemas in LONDON? Go bowling - don't they have bowling alleys in LONDON? Watch football - don't they already have an enormous number of much better football clubs in LONDON? Crazy fool.
  24. Lol. Sheer desperation from the news now! They're so desperate to cling to the bestest fans in the world tag, that they're now putting words into the mouths of players who don't even play for the club! But I guess this is how history is written down there. They say/print something over and over again and then it becomes accepted as Pompey folklore!
  25. A LOAN??? The club has gone bust TWICE in the last three years owing[sic] more than £180m! I'd suggest a loan and saddling more debt on a company in this situation is the absolute last thing they need! It really is a disease down there isn't it? Gotta get something on the never never and all will be fine! Perhaps they've approached the council because they've always been the ones to house the population of Portsea, so why not the football team.
