  1. Taxi, to train station, train to Southampton, another train to Gatwick, taxi to meeting venue, taxi back to train station, train to Southampton, another train, another taxi! Total cost, about 10 times more than the diesel cost to get there and back In these credit crunch times the company probably won't want to play ball there!!
  2. I'll second that!! I ordered from them for one of my staff. Ordered on a Monday and was told 2-3 days for delivery. Phoned on the Friday to chase the order, and was told to call back on Saturday as the guy I needed wasn't in. Phoned on Saturday about 10 times and no-one answered [figured that was good as they were busy]. Phoned back on Monday to be told they don't work on Saturdays!!!! Cancelled the order straight away, and the only thing they managed to get right was the refund!
  3. Thursday. And going for a meeting rather than catching a plane to an exotic part of the world
  4. From Bursledon, and need to be there for 09:30. What is the best route to take, how long will it take, and what time do I need to leave???
  5. Depends whether he got 'Wotte' on the back of his son's shirt
  6. Isn't that site something to do with Woggy?
  7. 17k sold, plus 9,000odd season tickets  Looks like almost a full house then
  8. They tell the one man how to use their vote
  9. LOL. I'll resist the temptation to say 'told you so'.....oh....
  10. Get yer hands off, that's ours!!!
  11. It certainly seems as though they've learnt absolutely nothing from our previous couple of years of takeover rumours
  12. It promises to be better value for money than what has been offered at SMS so far this season
  13. Don't you be bringing your nasty logic into an argument with Pompey fans, they'll never understand
  14. I don't have any idea what bule is
  15. I agree! If she didn't de-regulate the banks we wouldn't find ourselves in this mess
  16. Not me My bank didn't take any money off the Gov't because they didn't need to
  17. I'd let him represent me as a fan on the board
  18. I suppose in a twisted way that is evidence of Apple's reliability
  19. So, if the banks were the real culprits, then why was it necessary to bail them out? Why not let them get what was coming to them, and let them learn the lessons? Surely this way means they can carry on as before safe in the knowledge that the tax payer will continue to pick up the tab for their mistakes???
  20. I wonder if she left any family behind?
  21. I don't think the title of the thread was particularly ambiguous, so it begs the question why, if you're not interested in the subject, did you even bother to open the thread?
  22. It won't be a good thing People losing their jobs will never be a good thing, especially since all the money needed to pay their UB40 has been spunked on RBS Boom - Bust does happen all the time - despite what Gordon Brown insisted - but look what the last boom brought us, a house of cards
  23. A little bit too basic, and not thought out at all! Now that things only cost £5 - because that is all people have to buy them with - the people who sold those things can now only pay their employees half as much [minimum wage laws say this isn't going to happen], so they must pay only half as many employees. Ergo, one of you isn't going to have a job so only one of you will have that £5....
