You can either endorse the daft celebrity culture - big brother, and plastic celebs like Paris Hilton - or not. You can't say that the celebrity culture is pointless and condemn it and yet on the other hand support Goody for exploiting it and making money from it. It just doesn't make sense. Is that so difficult to understand?

If you're so short sighted that you can't see that endorsing her actions and therefore endorsing the celebrity culture that brought about those actions in the first place are not intrinsically linked, then more fool you!

So far, I'm pretty sure everyone has agreed that it is indeed sad - and emotive!! I think people differ on the way she is doing it! You think it is fine for her to parade her dying moments on TV, some of us don't. Which 'celeb' was it that broadcast the birth of their baby live on the internet, and what is your opinion on that? I stick to my opinion that Goody is the epitome of what is wrong with this country and it's ridiculous celebrity culture, and frankly these programs aren't doing a lot to change my opinion But I guess it really is a case of each to their own, and as Ponty said, whatever floats your boat...
