But, just the same, we wouldn't get a 'proper' right back, centre back or striker. Whoever comes in will be a no mark from another CCC or League 1 side, probably with very little experience of life, let alone football. We have enough of those already, and really don't need to be paying anyone else's wages....

Experience is 'gained' and certainly isn't given. Therefore I would presume MS - or anyone else for that matter - wishing to gain experience would start at the bottom and work their way up. Even Alex Ferguson didn't become 'top dog' straight away. I think this just goes to prove that good / great players don't necessarily translate into good / great managers.....
