I personally think Leeds will struggle this season. They have lost there two best players for decent money, but on paper at least, haven't replaced them with similar quality. The lad from Feynoord might have something about him, but bit like us they have taken punts on unknown quantities. I think the mantra for the upcoming season is beat the teams that are going to be around us, especially at home.

It's obvious that neither are in the long term plans of Chelsea. Just all about starting a bidding war between interested clubs. Would serve them right if clubs moved onto other targets in the meantime.

Plenty of players in the Top 6 like that who are prepared to sit on benches and play the odd game whilst picking up ridiculous wages. Like you I would question some players motivation for actually playing the game. I know that the career of a footballer is relatively short, but to my mind that would be all the motivation I would need to play as many games as I possibly could.

Shouldn't be too hard a deal to get done at that price. Can't imagine Burnley are paying him anything we can't afford. Guess it's down to where he sees himself playing in August

Am not totally sold on Delap to be honest. Season on loan with an option to buy may be would be worth the gamble. Would like to see someone more established come in, but as stated on here many times, that comes at a premium price.

Didn't the same thing happen with Dier last year? There were some links to him, but the fuck me he's terrible brigade thought it would be the worse signing in the club's history, despite him being clearly a level above what we had at the time.

No problem with me signing Winks. More than capable player for our level. Think he would offer more than Diallo, who for me has done very little in his time with us.

I'd be very surprised if we agreed a buy back with Spurs. Am hoping Spurs were too arrogant to think that KWP would ever get to that level for them to be interested in getting him back. Also we tend not to like doing business with them so hopefully Semmens had the balls to refuse to add the clause.

Think the point is that he rarely challenges or calls out Ralph during after match interviews, despite us being dog shite for large amounts of last season. I get why he doesn't, but very annoying when he could have asked lots of difficult questions to Ralph.
