Pretty good going. I've been in Lee for about three years now and have not come across another Saints fan as yet. Can't even honestly say there is an abundance of the blue few either. Five minutes down the road in Gosport, it's a different matter though!

Take your point. However, with the clubs that maybe would look to loan him, could they even come close to matching that potential wage? Possibly we would still have to cover the majority of his wage, throw on top a loan fee, and he might be unattainable for the majority of clubs he may be of interest to.

I would be inclined to keep him until his contract expires. Don't think we are going to get any takers for a permanent transfer. Loan is pointless really. Might as well keep him as useful squad option and surely offers more than Walcott coming off the bench.

Would you really expect us to get an offer of that price though? I know clubs get more desperate toward the end of a window, but that figure for Adams would be way more than I would be happy my team paying for him

Agreed he has been a good signing for us. Always thought he could have pushed on a bit more though. Always seems to play safe rather than taking a risk, almost if he doesn't believe in his own ability.

Gotta question Chelsea and their recruitment. Do they even need him with the likes of Pulisic around?

It's a shame that we were not in this position last year to spend a bit of money. Had we been, am sure we would have been in for Guehl who ended up at Palace.

I wonder if it's a case of us not wanting him to leave,or if he doesn't want to go. Surely at this stage in his career he would be better off dropping down a level to get regular games.
