While it's true that Ward Prowse flatters to deceive on occasions, I think he seems to perform better in the brief outings he has had for England rather than us. I don't know if that's because with England he is obviously surrounded by better players, or that he is playing in a more natural position for him. I saw him play a number of forward passes playing for England than I ever have whilst playing for us. Maybe he is another PEH, a player just playing for the wrong club, in a system that doesn't suit his game. Or maybe Southgate is just a better manager than Ralph.

Is there really any firm interest in us though? Are we too much of a risk for any potential buyer?

I'd quite happily like to see Bertrand not play again this season. Sadly, through lack of other viable options, that isn't going to happen

Have we actually gone forwards since Pelligrino? That performance today was straight out of his coaching manual. -

These players may never make another semi final again in their careers. The lack of desire, commitment and fight was appalling. -

If you are going to lose fine, but at least lose with a bit of fight, aggression and commitment. We have displayed nothing, nothing at all. -

The only thing you ask for is that you give everything out there on the pitch, don't leave anything out there. Unfortunately, don't think we can say that so far -

No reason for Ings to go down there unless he is clipped -

Just seen Andrew Surman is turning out for MK Dons against the blue few today.

So we had the perceived reason for the appalling performance on Monday due to players having one eye on the semi final. What happens if we, by some miracle win on Sunday? Will that same excuse be dragged out for the rest of the season after more abject losses, that the players will all have one eye on the final? Or will it work the other way, motivated players playing for a cup final place? -
I agree it's always been this way. For me it's the manner of the defeats that aren't acceptable. Each defeat seems to throw up any even worse performance
-
That's a pretty damning stat

What other options do we have though? They have to start. I agree though, I think apart from Ings, JWP and maybe KWP, none of that line up that played this evening should be nowhere the 11. -
Maybe Ralph needs a different view or perspective. Maybe try watching a half in the stands, might give him a better view of how to change things.
-
That's all very well, but just how many bad performances have we had since January?
-
Pretty sure Howe wouldn't want to damage his reputation any further by working with this amateur board. Having said that, maybe he's holding out for something, as he seems to have distanced himself from Celtc
-
Ralph, We were gone by the forty minute mark
-
If we are as skint as suggested, then we have no hope that the board will sack him

Feels like the Chelsea semi final all over again

The most worrying thing is that this is our best starting eleven bar Romeou. Truly awful
