I definitely recall booing for him was more so during the relegation and first championship season. He was our marquee signing when we moved to St Mary's, and I like many were totally underwhelmed especially when Bierhoff was being rumoured. Remember Stuart Gray playing him at RB (Dodd must have been injured and Paul Murray not up to it) and he looked totally lost, got sent off at St Mary's whilst playing there. Met Rory Delaps dad in the pub at Blackburn away 2004 and he said his sons biggest downfall was he was happy to get a game, even if it meant playing out of position.

I'm not sure. I don't think Delap was a crowd favourite when he played for us. Seem to recall him being booed at home games.

Another mess up by the club when it comes to season tickets this season. Didn't they send them all out really late last season and the ticket just shoved in an envelope?

I had deleted an email and luckily my friend brought it to my attention. Seems Saints are having issues taking payments for season tickets on installment plans when you have multiple cards on file. The email I received is below, so worth checking your payments been taken. We are sorry to inform you that your Season Ticket Instalment failed to be taken from your account.The payment run is automated for the last day of each month, which cannot be changed so we are unable to attempt to take the money again. However you are able to make the payment yourself online, we are also not advised as to the reason that the payment did not go through, only that the payment was rejected when attempted payment was made.These are the details on how to pay off the defaulted instalment, if you have any other queries regarding your season ticket not related to the pay plan, please send a separate email to tickets@saintsfc.co.uk.Please login into your online account.
