The slagging off of the city by the Salisbury twitter folk I find very odd. I've seen some call Southampton a shit hole and that they'd never move here. Not a good look at all for those who support the club. Would rather fans like that stay at home. Calling ourselves Scummers I'll never get. All very odd

There seems to be a a lot of Southampton fans on social media platforms who come from Salisbury or Basingstoke and have no ties to Southampton. This seems to be a hot topic of debate on twitter at the moment. What are people's thoughts on out of city folk supporting us? Should they be allowed to refer to themselves as Scummers? Will we see a decline of tourist fans now we have been relegated?

Possibly the worst nickname ever, doesn't even make sense. Maldini was a left back. Personally I think it should be the Irish Buffon who is made captain

His Pinnacle consortium along with Matt Le Tissier were even given exclusivity by the Administrator. As the article above shows it soon became apparent after the sky sports interview that Fialka lived with his parents and was on a modest salary. 14 years later do we know how Fialka managed to get Matt Le Tissier on board and get exclusivity to buy the club? Does any footage of the sky sports interview exist? Do we know what Fialka intentions were? Has anyone ever interviewed Fialka about his failed attempt to buy Southampton? If not, should they?

Who remembers when some Southampton fans were desperate to get a fan on the board? I recall this all came about around the mid 2000s as Charlton Athletic had a fan on the board and had just finished in the top 10 of the Premier League, so some of our fans were desperate for our club to follow in their trailblazing ways. Needless to say by 2007 Charlton were relegated, have never seen the Premier League again and are now languishing in League 1. So my questions to you are; Who were the favourites to be the Southampton fan on the board back in 2005-2009? What was the agenda of the fan on the board? What did they hope to achieve? Would a fan on the board work in 2023?

Wonder how long it took him to come up with that? I actually feel sorry for Robs girlfriend who he's currently on Holiday with in Turkey as instead of spoiling her he's more concerned about making sure he's there with the latest Saints news and puns. What happened to going on holiday, putting your phone down, forgetting about what's going on at home and enjoying the beer and sun?
