With all four sides of the ground now seemingly having a section for some chanting, I see no reason why we cannot.

Second half Alcaraz getting forward, 1-2s, long range shots is top for this league. First half I thought he was fairly awful, letting people glide past him, being out-challenged. Then he grew into the game and showed why he could be a key difference for us, great player when he’s bang at it.

I wouldn’t feel overtly confident with either of those two starting yet. I would probably ease them in, if stu starts he’s bound to only play around 60-70 mins so could easily bring in a Charles then. Although having said that based off last Friday, Armstrong off the bench if we did start with either of those two could also be beneficial so we’ll see.

TBH it’s not like we don’t ever go long. Vs Wednesday Stephens quite a few times looked for a quick ball over the top from a goal kick. After a bunch of mindless passing, it can cause quite a shock to suddenly change it up and go long.

My optimism will entirely depend on who comes into the midfield tomorrow, it must be stuart armstrong.
