Believe it or not it was arranged through the local Police neighbourhood team - Sgt **** Partridge and some of the PCSO's from Northam, St Marys and Newtown. The art work was arranged with some Solent Uni volunteers ( who are my contacts) . I think it looks very good.

Bloomin good effort. Telephone radio solent and let them know. Sure they will even get you on the radio next saturday. Best of luck for a great cause

i agree, but lots on here demand instant success (don't we all!) but it just isn't going to happen. We have to lose the losing mentality with fresh faces and build upwards.

i cant see them putting out full strength team for us personally. Premier survival is their goal. Good chance for us and hoping for around 15 k

If this has happened then we would have absolutely known about it by now. The Police would have appealed for witnesses etc, the place WOULD have been shut, if not then then it would be by now. Only a friendly against an everage Scottish team. The real effort should be made in 2 weeks for the Millwall match. Thats when it really matters, however with early August school holidays, money being tight ,early kick off - don't expect a sell out, more like 20K would be a decent gate. Perhaps we ought to start the campaign for Turn up for Millwall match now....

Davis, Thomas, Mills and Lallana stood out for me, the rest were average but is Murty really only 34? He played OK but looks about 40 !!!! Mills got around a bit and Davis made some cracking saves and commanded the box in the first half. Second half the back 4 were awful. Saying that Ajax were very, very good and probably could have crucified us. Good crowd and the only way is up...

crowd was good, i'd say 23000, Kingsland was very full as was Northam.

I am waiting to see who the manager is. If it is someone I think will make an impact I will get my first ever season ticket after 35 years of going (and even one for my daughter as well ) . If they are not then I won't. Simple as that.
